At the Treehouse in Winter Harbor, I floated up into a canopy of flavors, my branzino was crisp as a sea breeze, yet tender as a secret whispered by the ocean. Dessert was pure Maine magic; blueberry pie so bright it felt like summer had stowed away on my plate. Dining here is a forkful of flavor.

Seasonal restaurant located on the water in Winter Harbor, Maine. Nice diverse menu with many options. Great wine list, a good selection of beers and a full bar. Soups seem to rotate frequently, I have had the clam chowder and tomato bisque both recently. They accept reservations, but you have to call to secure one, no on-line reservations available. Then you will get automated messages from Toast about your reservation. Plan on an hour or two for your dinner, they do not rush you. Great views of the harbor from most every seat. Open style kitchen is fun to watch.

Called to see if I could use their bathroom for a young child and was told “no” flat out with no explanation.

2.50 for a slice of cheese on your burger, 4.50 for a soda. The burger was mid at best, very insulting upcharges honestly.

I read a review that stated the lobster stew contained a full lobster. Wrong! I'd say maybe one claw. I asked about bread or a roll which wasn't included, so I ordered a side, four tiny pieces of toast for $4.50

we arrived with a reservation for a party of 4 at 7:30 p and had to wait a few minutes to be seated. our table had a great view of the shore and the place was super cute, decorated with a bunch of coastal stuff. it was a little hard to hear each other for it being 8 on a thursday but nothing too bad. the waitress (shoutout Robin) was great and she brought us drinks right and the app we ordered right away. the waters sat empty for a while which is my only comment on her service, otherwise great. we ordered bruschetta (app), the branzino, a burger and paella. branzino was excellent, as were the paella and burger, however the fries that came with the burger were burnt. for dessert we had the blueberry pie which was fantastic. food was expensive, as expected at a nice place like that and overall it was a pretty good experience and we would give it another try!

Exceptional atmosphere in this open and welcoming seaside gem. Octopus was the best I'd ever had...server was attentive and everything was presented beautifully. Strong recommend!

This was a really good stop. The food was excellent… We went in without a reservation and they were able to see us at a community table, which was really nice. We met some lovely people. I got the charred Spanish octopus as a starter and the Branzino for dinner. Both were spectacular! Mary had Thai Chili salad as a started and Korean tacos for the main…also delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive with a great attitude. Also, a lovely view of the bay…Strong recommend and we will return this trip. Checkout the mountain rd in nearby Acadia for an awesome post meal sunset!

Delightful menu, elevated dishes. Had the pesto shrimp pesto and the mustard-encrusted salmon - very good. Don’t pass on the desserts - blueberry pie was delicious! Friendly and efficient staff and near-upscale setting.

This place is so cute! It really gives the Maine vibe! Our server was sweet. The food however was expensive (the most expensive place we are on our stay) and it was so so at best. I got the paella and it was much too salty. So much so that I could not finish it. Other dishes may be better. I do not recommend the paella

My family had the pleasure of dining at this lovely restaurant during our vacation. From the moment we walked through the door the owner, Andrew and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The menu has something for everyone, fresh seafood and dishes made with local ingredients. We started with the lobster spring rolls and the burrata, both fresh and delicious. I had the Mediterranean
halibut which was fresh and fantastic. My son had the New York strip which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the bulgogi Korean tacos which were tasty. For dessert we enjoyed the Maine blueberry pie and the blueberry crème brûlée. We devoured everything. The service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing. If you find yourself in the area do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
