We stopped in as a last resort on a Sunday. Not much open on Sundays on the Schoodic Peninsula. Very busy with a long wait time. We elected to eat at the bar. Food was good to very good. Crab cake dinner was good and Haddock dinner was very good served Mediterranean style. Bar service was average and the vibe wasn’t great. Bartender seemed very distracted and definitely focused on the local crowd. Main dining room I’m sure is better. Also a bit pricey.

If I could give it 5 more stars I would!!!!!!! This place is phenomenal!!! My brother and his wife and my wife and myself just returned to mn. Guy Fierri needs to visit this place! Sorry for rambling, but my favorite food there was the lobster soup!!!
Good food. This place is more upscale than I would have guessed from the outside, but the food is great. They seemed a bit understaffed, but the staff was polite.

We were turned away at the door, being told there were no tables available due to upcoming reservations. However, the restaurant was nearly empty, with several open tables. After leaving, we called to check availability and were told we could be seated in 25 minutes.
It left us feeling like we were rejected either because of our appearance or because we’re not locals. As first-time visitors to this town, this experience gave us a very negative impression.
We had an incredible meal here while visiting Winter Harbor. Long wait but we were convinced by people coming out that it was worth the wait, and we completely agree.
Kid-friendliness: While they don’t have a printed kids menu, they do offer kid friendly items like sliders, pasta, salmon and chicken tenders.

Once we got seated (in the bar that we did NOT request), our experience was good. Our table in the bar was so loud it was useless to talk for the first 30 minutes. We got to our lovely B&B in Sullivan where Matt offered two places when we asked about finding amazing food. We called and hostess said show at 7:30 to be seated. Wejen we arrived, we were told we would be seated in 10-15 minutes. Had we known it would take an hour, we would have taken a walk and admired the ocean and surroundings.
We arrived to an unpaved lot (had to park at least 50 yards away … wore open toed shoes that were filled with pebbles by the time we got to the restaurant). Found it interesting to watch the kitchen do their thing but I admit it didn’t fill an hour of waiting. There was one person behind the bar, working hard to make drinks for the restaurant and the bar as well as my husband who walked over to fetch a drink while we waited.
Our server, Kate G, was amazing. We were ravenous and asked for her help in expediting our food (“bring food in any order” was our message). My husband had the beet/goat cheese salad and ahi tuna starter. I had the Caesar salad (with anchovy) and Blue Hill mussels with white wine garlic sauce. A gastronomical experience! Kate hussled and was totally pleasant throughout. The pineapple margarita was tasty, too. We opted for dessert: the crème brûlée cheesecake and blueberry pie for dessert. I’m very picky about blueberry pie and this one outperformed. Having just come from the PEI (and prices inflated beyond the CA-US $ exchange), the bill was reasonable for what we eat and the expertise in which it was prepared.

The food was excellent!!! However, although we had a 5:30 res and were sat quickly, the Staff, including the manager, whizzed by us constantly, but no one served us even water for a full ten minutes. Drinks were another 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes for the app. So it’s been almost 40 minutes without food. I commented that there was a bread plate when we sat done. To me, at this “upscale” place, it implied we would have a morsel of bread with our cocktails.
Of course we ate our mussels in ten minutes. We were hungry. The manager drop off our entrees (which were delicious) and sped away, so we said nothing. And we had dessert and expressos. We are only here in the summer, so I am writing this so the restaurant improves and either doesn’t set the table with a bread plate , or serve us a piece of bread. I understand waiting for food, but don’t tease me. Every other table seemed to get a check in with Andrew the manager. I felt a bit ignored.

My husband and I dined at the Tree House two times this week. The food was incredible and the wait staff was pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend!
Dietary restrictions: I am dairy free and on our first visit the waitress was very helpful with choices I could eat. I chose the Mediterranean Halibut and it was so good I ordered it again the next visit.

This place was so nice!! I had the crab cake and my husband had a steak, and both were phenomenal. Our server was very helpful, also, and helped me choose a good wine to pair with my meal. A bit pricey, so best for a date night rather than taking the kids out, but so worth it!!

This is such a great place! Food was superb and the atmosphere is great. Taste and presentation reign over portion size which is perfect. I loved it!

Elevated dining on the coastal downeast peninsula and located in Winter Harbor, Maine. As a local, we visited Andrew's, Treehouse Seaside Grill. We walked into an open dining room design with glass side-by-side windows on the ocean-side of the dining area. A beautiful interior, and a relaxing atmosphere. The service was top notch, intentional, and thoughtful. Our server was precise and friendly. The food was amazing! The high quality food we received was flavorful, and well portioned. The meal was perfection, while the smoky aromatics added a perfect addition, yet not overpowering! The pricing is reasonable for this restaurant. I highly recommend Treehouse Seaside Grill for a destination visit or a routine place to sit, relax, and enjoy an excellent meal!
