Xania is a rockstar! We stopped by Gifford’s in Yarmouth and were absolutely blown away by the service — especially from Xania! She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and so patient with our energetic little guy, Noah (aka “Nonstop Noah” 😂).
Not only did she serve up some of Maine’s best ice cream with a genuine smile, but she made us feel right at home while doing it. It’s rare to find customer service that stands out like that, and Xania absolutely nailed it. Gifford’s, if you’re reading this — give that girl a raise! She’s a gem and represents your brand like a pro.
Xania, if you’re ever in Richmond, Maine — you’ve got to stop by Morning Moose Coffee. We will take great care of you!
Thanks again for the sweet experience 🍦
Worst ice cream shop I've ever been to. Ordered two “regular” cookie dough cones, and a kiddie soft serve vanilla w/ whip cream for my dog. Well, the regular cones were almost $6 a piece and were way smaller than women's “small cone” in front of me. My pup cup, had no ice cream which I paid for!!!! Spent $15.66 for next to nothing. Do better giffords.
Don’t go here. Horrible prices for barely any ice cream
Moose tracks? There were NO tracks. Not even one. It's like the moose never came. This IS vanilla ice cream.
The ice cream here is very tasty but any toppings are subpar. We got a soft swirl twist and a s'mores mud. The toppings on the mud all tasted like they were months old and stale. Just stick to a simple soft serve or a scoop.

Look at the picture and tell me how ridiculous it is. When I pay extra for a waffle cone, I expect the scoop of ice cream to match the size of the cone.
Great ice cream spot anytime

We got small cones that were two full scoops, good portions, a chocolate lovers, and moose tracks. Hand dipped ice cream was smooth, creamy, and flavorful! A classic ice cream stand.

I was there today and ordered several Ice creamCones (1 kiddie, 1 small, 1 Regular and 2 banana splits), they gave me all the ice cream cones and, after they realized their bananas were bad, they offered to make something else for me. I went ahead and decided just to get something simple (2 ice cream cones in place of the banana splits). I asked if they would refund me the difference from the banana split cost and they told me that it actually came to be the same thing! A banana split is $8.50 and a Regular cone is $4.75 which is not the same price! They had charged me for the banana splits before they realized they couldn’t do them, so I assume they just didn’t want to go through the hassle of refunding me. Unacceptable!! Very disappointed!

The server was a good conversationalist, and she was very efficient at serving. The ice cream itself was delicious; They didn’t have the flavor I wanted (peppermint stick) but they had my second favorite (mint chocolate chip). It’s got a nice texture, a little hard but easy to eat. It’s a bit cramped if you’re eating in/ at the ice cream shop, but worth it.

Sweet Dreams has been blessed with another large donation from our loyal supporters at Gifford’s Ice Cream of Skowhegan. There are too many items to count but let’s just say… we are excited and overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity. Thank you to all the employees of this wonderful company. ???
