The atmosphere was cute, however the food was below standards. Two guests ordered a beef burrito, the beef was so dry it crumbled out of the burrito. The guests struggled to swallow bites of the burrito without coughing due to how dry and burnt it was. The food was not cooked or seasoned well. Overall a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately this experience led to a lot of wasted food.
We had an excellent time bringing family from out of town to Yarmouth’s new Mexican Grill!
Everyone working was very helpful and sweet. The drinks were great, many interesting salsa choices (maple mango was great!) and the food so so good. Chicken tinga quesadilla and potato tacos were excellent. Next time I have to try the chicken wings…
Came here to try something different. It is on the corner of a main street so parking is limited. I wish they had a sign or logo or something to make the front entrance door THE door to enter in. We saw the flag and went around back to a side area and thought that was the entrance ... any way, we found it.
It just opened for lunch time so we were the only ones there. Great little spot, the bar area looks inviting and we might be back for that.
The burrito was a lovely large portion that was taken home for left overs. The only thing I was surprised was the dryness of the burrito but I am guessing it is supposed to be like that so you can try out their salsa bar?? They have plenty of great choices to dip your meal into. Meat in mine and my husbands was a little tough. These minor things won't keep me from coming back though.
Waitress was very pleasant and friendly.
Never again. The only thing positive was our server. She was challenged by an incompetent kitchen and having only one bartender. She was good and should getvher resume ready. The food was inedible. The menu was confusing. Took almost 30 mins to get drinks and chips and salsa. We should have left but were really hungry. Turns out we left hungry. Sorry but it appears there are no skilled chefs or business owners associated with this place.
Great fresh Mexican food. Brought the baseball team for lunch and zero complaints.
By far the best/most authentic tacos I’ve had (since living in San Diego). Awesome salsas as well. I will suggest that the salsas that say they are hot need a LOT more heat.
The food was really bad. The service was ok but there were flies constantly buzzing around inside the restaurant.
Top notch burritos and margaritas! The mole sauce was delicious as well..
Brought my 3 kids in with me for great tacos and solid kids food options that aren’t the standard frozen meals warmed up. Loved the atmosphere, location and will definitely be back again soon!
Food is ok but the dining room is unbelievably loud even when half full. It could really need some sound dampening tiles.

If I could marry a taco, I’d be registered at Salsa on Main. This place didn’t just serve me food — it spiritually adopted me and whispered, “You are home now, mi amigo.”
The Carne Asada taco? A smoky, juicy sonnet wrapped in a corn tortilla. I bit into it and briefly blacked out. When I came to, I was speaking fluent Spanish and my left leg had grown a tiny sombrero. 🌶️💃
And the Carnitas burrito? Let’s just say if burritos were royalty, this one would be crowned, worshipped, and protected by elite guac-wielding guards. I would gladly write its name in hot sauce across my chest and scream “BURRITOOOO!” from the rooftops.
Every bite was a flavor fiesta — my taste buds threw a Cinco de Mayo party and invited every good decision I’ve ever made.
If you don’t go to Salsa on Main, I’ll assume you hate joy and probably think cilantro tastes like soap (you monster).
🌮 Salsa on Main: Come for the tacos, stay because your soul refuses to leave. 🌯🔥

Tried this restaurant for the first time today and was extremely disappointed with the food. The 2 Tacos for $14.00 were tiny, the corn taco fell all apart when you picked it up, there was literally 1 tiny piece of steak, a pinch of cilantro and you had to look to see the cheese. They were so bad we couldn’t eat them.
We were so hoping it would be good, as a nice addition of a Mexican restaurant in the village.
Sadly, it was the worst take out we have ever had.
I truly hope they find a way to make it work.
We loved our corn tortillas, held up nicely which is not always the case. Tacos were full and tasty! Burrito was copious and full of meat. Family friendly and staff was welcoming. We will be back!
Great food, friendly staff, will be back!!!
$14 for two tacos and no side is insane, not sure why the pic shows three. Rice, beans…nothing even offered to add on as a side except $10 elote which they were out of. As someone from the Southwest, the flavors were mid at best. Too much cilantro on the tacos (should complement, not overpower). We did enjoy the corn tortillas, however- they had a nice texture and flavor. To note: corn tortillas are usually served doubled up so they don’t split, but these were single. My carne asada taco was stewed almost like a pot roast consistency, which is not authentic. The salsas were very mild (even the ones that said hot). Hubby got El Pastor and there was no pineapple. Seems like more of a snack place, not a rounded meal. Although we understand this is Maine and not Texas, we were still very disappointed.
