DO NOT EAT HERE!!! RUDE WAITERS!!! POOR SERVICE. We were there at about 6:30pm on March 28th 2024. When I tell you the food took 2 hours for 2 orders I’m not kidding! A Salad and a Mac and cheese. Along with the pork Chops. The waiters laughed at us for complaining about how long the food took. The gentleman who has short brown/black hair who worked there was BEYOND rude. The meal was over $75. The food was terrible, the Pork chop was minimal and the food showed up COLD. There was probably a lot of people there right? WRONG. THERE WAS MAYBE 10 people eating. We sat down and waited 30 mins just to get a drink. We had to find the waiter because they never came to our table…I was highly disgusted….

Slow service probably recovering from Spring break. No reservations required just walk in and seat yourself. Speak up to get a menu or be ignored. It helps if you find a table that hasn't been cleared at least they noticed that we're helping them do their job. Food was edible. My wife's salmon was overcooked, flavorless and buried under wild rice. I had the chicken sliders, decent. Chicken sliders were dry. Definitely not worth the price. Menu is really just hit or miss, depends on what you order.

Food was ok, came with my wife for an overnight stay and this was an easy stop inside the resort after the pool & hot tubbing... Fish & chips was definitely frozen cafeteria style pre-breaded filets, not worth the nearly $20. Side salad add on was good but was $8! Wife's Quesadilla was very good she said. On top of this booming music playing like it was a rave dance club. It's not! Do better!

Unbelievably offensive portions for a $19 Chinese chicken salad. At best, I got 1.5 cups of cabbage mix, about 20% of a chicken breast, and a handful of oranges. Waitstaff couldn't have cared less when I asked why the portion was so small.

Ordered a Chinese chicken salad expecting to not be overwhelmed by the portion size being it was in the grand traverse resort, but what I got for $19 was borderline criminal. At best, 1.5 cups of bagged cabbage mix, 20% of a cold chicken breast, half a mandarin orange, a sprinkle of fried rice noodles and some dressing. It barely covered the bottom of the to-go box. When I went back to double check the portion size was right, the wait staff couldn't have cared less. Shrugged their shoulders and just looked at me.

I ate here twice during my visit and they serve an awesome Italian grinder for a bar environment. The server was very prompt and friendly. It can get loud because it a small area for quite a few beverage drinkers.

Both employees ignored me for over ten minutes when I sat down at the bar ( there were only two other people in the bar at this time, so they were not too busy) one was talking to another employee eating at the bar, and the other was playing on his phone. Didn’t help me until I said something. Had to get up and ask for my check after because they never came back also. For the prices at this place I expect better service. Felt like I was a inconvenience to the workers. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere for the rest of the trip

I got to the resort a little later than expected and Jack's was still serving food, so I grabbed a side salad and a Margherita flatbread to hold me over. The salad with their cherry vinaigrette dressing was tasty, as was the flatbread. On a busy night, the service wasn't too bad. I anticipate I'll be back again next year.

I really enjoy it here. It's not your typical hotel bar and grille. The food is great and it's in a great solarium type area of the property. I recommend the chili dogs and the burgers!

Brenna is an amazing and fun bartender/waitress. Every time she works it's always fun. She always takes time to make you feel important or valuable. My only complaint is she's not working as often i would like! She's awesome!!Thank you Brenna for everything

My husband and I went to Jack's for dinner last and we were fortunate to have Brenna as our server! She was super friendly, didn't make us feel rushed, and helped make our stay even more amazing!

2 stars for a burger that came out undercooked twice, but 10 stars for the young man who did his best to rectify the situation and for communicating with the manager so I wasn't charged!
