Great food. Friendly staff. Usually has a small to no wait except on sundays.

My friend and I really liked our sandwiches for lunch! She got the Chicken salad Sammy and I got the Mountie. Service was a little slow but they were pretty busy around 1pm on a Saturday.

Overall a good place to grab a bite to eat. They're definitely not 10-20$ like reported.

Ran out of coffee by 10:00 am! Continued to say manager was bringing coffee filters and they couldn’t make any coffee until then! Food took 45 minutes to come out! Poorly run restaurant. Food was good once I got it.

Mudpenny is a fantastic spot that keeps us coming back for more! The food is delicious, and my kids absolutely love it—it’s a favorite for the whole family. Their coffee is top-notch, too—whether you’re grabbing a latte or just a regular cup, it’s always perfectly brewed and a great way to start your day.

While the prices do feel a bit steep, the quality of the food, the amazing coffee, and the overall experience make it worth it. It’s a go-to spot for us, and we’re happy to keep coming back! Highly recommend!

If you want to spend a lot of money on an average breakfast, this place is for you!
Eggs Benedict $19
Two extra eggs $5
Undisclosed charge to poach the eggs $1. (seriously?) Food was meh..
Not bad, but not great, especially for the price. Room temp water in a bottle sitting on ur table. Not impressed. Would not recommend. Will not go back.

The food was terrific. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and it was a real treat. The biscuits were soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. It was topped with an over easy egg and microgreens. The gravy was perfectly balanced for the biscuit. The brew coffee was strong, and my cup was never empty.
We went on Saturday morning. I'm not sure if it's the acoustics or just a particularly boisterous crowd, but it's tough to have a conversation.
While the ambiance wasn't ideal, the food definitely made up for it. I'll probably come back again, maybe on a quieter day.

Parking: Parking is a shared lot between several small businesses and the Ada Hotel.

Cute little coffee shop/restaurant downtown Ada. I was in for lunch, and the majority of the menu is brunch items (breakfast). The other offerings are sandwiches. The food was tasty, but it would be nice if there were more non breakfast menu options that weren't a sandwich. The vanilla latte w/oak milk I had was delicious. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The waitress should be making 15 dollars an hour potatoes were deep-fried and overdone. The eggs were a good, expensive place to eat.

Man, I really don’t like writing poor reviews for a place but sometimes one is left with no choice. Party of 5 for a Sunday brunch. They were busy, but we were seated swiftly. Our servers were kind but the food and timing of everything was immensely off and very disappointing. Our drink orders took 20+ minutes. It took asking 4 times to get a glass of water for one of us. Our food order wasn’t taken for 25+ minutes and then it was 55 minutes after that before our food came out (we kept time, because what else was there to do).

During this wait time there was no communication or checking in from the staff. When the food came out we were all shocked by the lackluster portions and plating. Half of us ordered eggs Benedict, and the micro greens that were listed on their menu were nowhere to be found. This was a large reason why all of us ordered it, and at $18 for a bare bones benny, we were pretty disappointed that this wasn’t communicated. I work in this industry and I know that micro greens are pricy and played a part in the price of that dish. I kindly asked our server about the micro greens, to which she said to me “she doesn’t know”. It was a really inconsiderate experience at the end of the day, would have preferred to spend 2+ hours and $40 literally anywhere else.

The food and drinks were tasty and creative. We got the egg white frittata and eggs benedict. A nice spot for brunch. The staff was friendly but drink service was very slow (some people got their food before their coffee).
