“1st time coming here and it was wonderful! Service was spectacular thanks to my wonderful server Tomas! Food was good too. I always like to go with a standard when I go somewhere new and they didn't disappoint! I got the chicken tenders and loaded tots. And im telling you, that breading/seasoning on the chicken was delicious. Even the sauces were superb. My only complaint was I had nothing to take home because I smashed all of it. Bonus note, if there's a game on that you want to watch, just ask! There's enough tvs in here for everyone.“

“Everything about this place is exactly what you would expect at an Applebee's. There's really not much to say about the differentness of any other Applebee's that i've been to, which is great. because consistency is key for chain restaurants. It is my first time getting an alcoholic drink at a restaurant, so that was a fun experience. The lady who served me was very polite and had good recommendations.“

“The Kiwanis Club of Grand Rapids meets here every week, and it’s easy to see why. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff always makes us feel right at home. A very special shout-out goes to Nikki and Ainsley, who brighten every meeting with their outstanding service. They’re attentive, friendly, and incredibly organized—always making sure our group is well taken care of, even on the busiest days. Their positive attitude sets the tone for our entire gathering. If you’re looking for a place that combines great food with exceptional hospitality, this is it. Highly recommended!“

Had the Chicken & Shrimp dish, chix was great, shrimp rubbery and too few, three mushrooms in the mushroom onion saute? Blondi dessert rubbery & not edible, although I enjoyed ice cream & sauce. Julian discounted dessert without being requested. I understood Applebee:s food is MSG free, something server did not know. And, the selection of wines included Cupcake & Barefoot brands, both of which have MSG!
And, the survey request for $20 off next $40 visit brings you to a site that requires CC info for free trial that starts charging within 5 days. READ THE FINE PRINT. Unfortunately my last visit to an Applebees.“

“I tried their pizza challenge. It was fun. The gluten-free pizza was good, too.
- Pizza 28” Challenge - $35: Super thin, but soft and fairly good.
The crust was dry, tough, chewy and was fairly plain. The pizza was easy, but the crust was very hard. I saved the crust for last (a tactic I learned from another competitor), but in this case, I think you need to eat the crust along the way so you don’t get tired of chewing it all at the end. Break it up.
I failed by one slice and almost all the crust I saved for the end. It sounds like the challenge is undefeated currently. Someone has to beat it. It is well within the possibility compared to other challenges out there. Though it is 28” and that sounds huge (it is huge), it is actually thin enough that it is still very much possible for those who train for it.
I’d have to guess it is 4 pounds. I weighed it at 3.5 pounds, but we couldn’t get it to balance well enough to take our hands off of it to get an accurate measurement. 28” is huge!!!
- Pizza 9” - $: Fits on a plate. My daughter ate it and reported it was good. The crust was plain.
- Cauliflower Pizza 12” - $: Except for the amount of cheese, it would have been my daughter’s new favorite gluten-free pizza.
- Service: Super helpful and cheerful. She was new, but it didn’t show at all. She was very proficient and amazing!
- Atmosphere: Clean. A bit on the darker side, but not bad. There is a higher ceiling and voices probably carry very easily. We didn’t experience that too much since we stopped by during a slow time.
- Conclusion: I’d certainly recommend this place for many reasons including the cheerful staff.

“I didn't have a problem getting a table on April 7th, 2022. It was my 49th birthday! Chocolate cake and ice cream and subs and Cobb salad and salmon was really good! I wish u get more tokens for $35.00 but my twin boy's and I had a blast! I give Dave & buster out in Kentwood, a perfect 10! AAPlus! I wish Dave and buster could give better deals on buying tokens. Please!“
