Literally spent $20 on extra meat and veggies in my bowl and this is what I got. The staff are beyond rude, and lazy they leave trash building up all over the place. They give zero thought to good customer service.

The staff seemed very unfriendly and unhappy, borderline rude. Card reader at the register would not work. The pop machine was out of pop, and garbage containers were all full or almost full. And next was that the sunken containers for the utensils (right next to the soda fountain) had a sticky goo in the bottom of them and unfortunately the end you stick in your mouth was resting in it. I still get nauseous thinking about it. I will never stop there again.

The biggest thing I would complain about is when you tell the person what you want and if their pan is out of stock (example: No steak), they stand there and look at you like “sry about your luck”. Lol.. This has happened 4 times to me.. Or if there was 2 tiny pieces of steak in the pan, they think that is good enough!?

Unlike the Ann Arbor Chipotle I left a review for, this one is well stocked and has good service.
I love Chipotle and eat it in East Lansing. This location was completely different. From the time we walked in you can see it wasn't very clean there was food and trash on many empty tables, the floors, windows and doors were filthy. I was hesitant to eat there. That should have been the first clue how this restaurant runs. From the time they went to take our order they were rude and not paying attention. They took my granddaughter's order knowing I was standing behind her waiting then skipped over me and went to two people behind me. Then was very rude and did not listen to what I wanted in my rice bowl. They weren't generous at all with the portions. I ended up with about two tablespoons of beef in my bowl. I asked for them to put our guacamole on the side so we could share. They put it on my granddaughters and only added about a tablespoon. They charge $2.65 for it! Employees were arguing in front of us. When the guy at the counter finally got my side of guacamole after three times trying to explain it and show him how little was on our order that was wrong. He charged me for 2 guacamoles. I told him to just take the extra one off. Because it only had a couple tablespoons in it I'm not paying over $5 for less than a quarter cup of guacamole.. the food was cold so we had to go back to our hotel to heat it. There was no silverware other than 2 unwrapped forks in a cup that had a bunch of nasty food in it. There is stuff spilled all over. To top it off the steak tasted dried and rotten like fish. $25 for two small meals that were bad.

Love Chipolte food. Always fresh and good but Enrique the manager was awful. Really hates his job. Frowning, rolling his eyes at us and slapping the food in our bowls. NEVER had that at a Chipolte.only in Adrian. I went to complain at his rudeness and the girl girl politely told me he was the manager. Love Chipolte food but will not go back to the Adrian location.

We were traveling so we went inside to eat for a break. The restaurant is small and doesn't have a ton of seating. When we placed our order, they did not ask if we wanted to eat in or take out, and honestly, it didn't occur to say we wanted it to eat in. Our burritos were made and plopped into a bag and handed to us. We went to find a table, and most were dirty with bits of burrito filling all over them. The area by the drink station wasn't the most neat and clean either as well as the floors. We sat down to eat, and we should have gone back to ask for plates to make our burritos easier to eat. The lemonade tasted somewhat watered down and the food was warm but not hot. Overall, this was not up to par for what we expect from Chipolte.
