I met a few friends there for supper. I had never been there and was pleasantly surprised. It's an old fast food restaurant so nothing to look at but the food was so good. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. I had the Brunswick stew, which is seasonal. It was so filling I almost couldn't finish it. Others got doggy bags to bring home for the next day. I'm planning to go again with other friends. It was so good
Last evening we drove through on a whim. It was outstanding frankly. Huge portions of delicious food. Everything was home cooked, and very reasonably priced. The food was very similar to what I would cook at home, but no fingers lifted to prepare it! We had pulled smoked chicken, homemade corn muffin, baked beans, tangy coleslaw, Mac and cheese and potato salad! I have paid much more for over seasoned BBQ. A huge unexpected delicious treat to say the least! Thank you!!!
Tried for the first time this weekend. First I'll start with the posetives. #1 food was very good. # place was clean. Now for the only thing I would improve. The gentleman plating the food was not very inviting. Seemed almost bothered. When I mentioned to his wife he missed something I got a little unnecessary attitude.
