JR's Hometown Grill and Pub

I would give this place a 5 but I only ordered an appetizer. I don't want to provide a review on food based on that. The atmosphere is low key, nice. I'm not a fan of booths that hold six or more and your seated with one other person in those huge booths. It was just odd. Friendly staff and a nice local place. My co-worker lives nearby so this is where she chose. Not a bad spot or place! I would go back.

Parking: The parking wasn't bad it's just the location. It's very busy through here.

It feels very crowded in the restaurant. There are too many tables for the space.

Wheelchair accessibility: I don't even know how you could get to any table in a wheelchair because the tables are so close together.

ordered 2 drinks and left. Manager not very smart business person. they gave us 2 menus with different prices for strip steak. Refused to honor the $3 difference. We left and spent $120 at Red Lobster instead. So, for $3, she turned down $100+ in business and I am not inclined to go back again as we have periodically done in the past.

I'm pretty sure they deep fry just about everything. Overall decent food. Service was perfect. I'd probably go back.

Steak severely overcooked, sent it back. They came out with a steak that I swear was still mooing. Son ate it anyways because he was starving and we had been there an hour already. Baby Back ribs were also overcooked and dry and looked nothing like baby backs. I had the new smash burger which was excellent, wife had the turkey melt which she loved. So not all bad and not all good. Server was great and handled everything like a pro. We will return just to see if maybe it was just a bad day for cooks.

The Adrian location of JR's has definitely gone down hill. For a carryout order you might wait 5 min or 25 min for them to answer the phone to take your order. The last person I had to deal with at the pickup window was rude. Want to dine in? The service inside hasn't been so great lately either. Used to be you'd get the great service you expected, but lately it's hit and miss. Just depends on which server you get. If at all possible, I'll drive to the Tecumseh or Brooklyn locations before I'll go to Adrian again, even though Adrian is closer.

JR's is a family favorite! There is something for everyone at JR's and I have never seen a burrito as big as their Wet Burrito, nor have I ever seen anyone eat the entire thing.

Had their 7 oz sirloin steak with baked potato and fresh grill vegetables. It's very tasty. The steak cooked perfect and tender. The grilled vegetables were very tasty and a good helping. Would go again.

Food was good. They were slammed and a little slow on a Sunday evening. Don't know if it was due to the NASCAR race or what. BUT, food was great and hot. Would recommend
