The iron skillet is very good. The cinnamon swirl toast was excellent. I want to go back and have the cinnamon swirl french toast!

Oh my gawd. This place is officially one of my new favorite places. We are visiting from the Detroit area and ordered the Monte Cristo, smoked brisket hash, and crack bacon.... It was all INCREDIBLE! The coffee is amazing, I can't wait to be in town for another visit since these leftovers will last me the rest of this trip!

I went to this restaurant 9/14/2025 and was brought my bill at 11:40 am. I've come to the restaurant for years, the food has been great, but on this day the service wasn't. We were practically ignored after we got our food even with us being done eating and my fiancee locking eyes with the waiter. They waited on the people next to us hand and foot but what's even better is MY RECEIPT SHOWS I PAID 63.60 AND WE LEFT A 0$ TIP BECAUSE WE WEREN'T PLEASED. THE PERSON WHO WAITED ON US GAVE HIMSELF A NICE GENEROUS TIP OF 12$ BECAUSE WHEN I GOT HOME I CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT, 75.60 IS WHAT IT SAYS THEY CHARGED ME. IVE BEEN LEAVING MESSAGES ON THE INQUIRY SIDE OF THINGS FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS AND NO ONE HAS RESPONDED TO ME. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANNA BE RIPPED OFF FROM THE WAIT STAFF. AND IF YOU DO GO HERE DOUBLE CHECK RECEIPTS.
Food and service was great. Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, this was not a great experience for us. The service itself was friendly, but the food was very disappointing. We ordered the Cinnaminis, and they arrived cold. I had the biscuits and gravy, which were also cold, flat, and bland—definitely not worth $17 for half a biscuit with no flavor or freshness. It tasted like it came straight out of a bag with no seasoning at all. My husband ordered the Monte Cristo. While it looked appealing when brought to the table, it was greasy, cold, and unpleasant to eat. The potatoes on the side were also cold, clearly pre-cooked long before our order. Nothing felt freshly prepared. To make matters worse, as I was talking to my husband about our meal, the table next to us was also complaining to the waiter about their food being cold—so it wasn’t just us. Overall, while the service was decent, the food quality was far below expectations. We left without finishing our meals and would not recommend spending money here.

My daughter and I happened on to this jem of a restaurant while bike touring in northern Michigan. We ordered off of the breakfast menu and the food and service were outstanding. The place had a cozy rustic vibe and the bathrooms were clean and inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the area. You won't be disappointed!

The cinnamon rolls had no cinnamon in them, the omelette was made of egg juice bought in buckets and didn’t feel to me like real eggs, service was meh, asked for water for the table and got just one glass and ignored the rest.. and he came every two minutes while we were eating and asked if we’re ready for the check which was very annoying

We had the pleasure of having a family get together at the restaurant a few weekends ago. Judy bent over backwards to get us all seated together, and was amazingly helpful. She was a joy to work with. Our server was Collette, and she did a fantastic job as well. She had a smile on her face the whole time, and was very attentive. Our meals were delicious, and we look forward to dining there in the future.

Have been bringing the hubby and kids here for almost 2 years and never had an issue until now... the new server Nathan actually had the audacity to tell my hubby to mind his own business when all he did was tell him he was neglecting a other table... Food was god awful to what a shame
