I ordered take out this morning got the starving Marvin. Asked for yoke egg, 2 eggs were fried with no yoke, one egg was still raw on the inside. I had to throw it away. Pancakes had no flavor. Please get a new cook bc the food is usually amazing here....really upset. The waiters were wonderful the cook was awful

Overheard our waitress getting yelled at for offering crayons to our antsy kids because “it makes us stay too long” (those were their words). Our waitress was super sweet, but definitely won’t be returning due to the rude people running this place. I about had a heat stroke just waiting for the food… obviously they keep it blazing hot to also deter folks from staying too long. Hey guess what owners? Parents with young children are not trying to stay longer than we have to! The crayons would’ve just made the long wait for the mediocre food a little bit more bearable for everyone in the restaurant!

Been in a many times. Food is always great, the place is comfortable and affordable. Most of the waitstaff is friendly and great. The past couple times I’ve had Jess. She seemed rushed, unfriendly and complained about any and everything to her tables instead of taking care of them. As a guest and not a friend, I don’t care to have my breakfast ruined by listening to the server complain about her life. Frankly, it made me uncomfortable the last time I was in and I haven’t been back just incase she’s working. Sad because one person has ruin an experience.

The waitresses, the cooks, and the food are all amazing. 10/10 recommend. Very clean, they immediately wipe down tables when someone leaves. They're kind, cook everything how you want it and quick. It's always packed with customers, so it is difficult sometimes to get parking, but 100% worth it. If you have to wait for a table, you usually don't have to wait more then 10-15 minutes. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You should put Clay Cafè on your list of resturants you MUST try. I forgot to mention, he portions are huge and they prices are lower then you'll find in most resturants. The food quality is fantastic!
