While this is not an upscale place, the food is really good.
I like that you don’t have to get dressed up sometimes and this is my go to place.
Prices are reasonable. The food and service is great!
The “Gypsy Omelet”, is my favorite breakfast choice.

Waitress was good. Food, not so much. Burritos were horrible. Half of our party didn’t receive the correct order. It’s obvious the kitchen needs to revise the cooks. One and done.

I have been going to village inn for sometime now every Thursday to get a salad bar to go for my husband and I. As of last week they have taken the diced ham away. What is a salad bar without meat? They say it's because it's to expensive. My thoughts are take the all you can eat salad off the menu and leave the ham on. If this continues I will no longer be there

Great all-day place to eat in Allegan, MI. We went about 5pm and had 'seafood': shrimp and fish dinners. Very reasonably priced...our TOTAL bill was < $35 which INCLUDED 2 ice cream sundaes @ only $3! Service was a bit slow but worth the wait. Food was hot and delicious; servings ample. Obviously a local favorite as well as perfect for travelers.

A great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have a good selection of what they offer from the menu so there's something for everyone. The service can be hit or miss during dinner. Breakfast this morning was great and so was our waitress. The prices are great. Spent less than $30 today for two of us. I do wish the staff was more detail oriented when it comes to cleanliness. Wore shorts today and crumbs were sticking to my skin from the booth seat. Overall I like coming here and will continue unless something changes.

Today went to Village Inn for lunch. I know there is a new owner; figured its been a few months they should have the kinks worked out. Was I ever wrong! Arrived just before 12:25pm. Was told there would be a wait, no biggie. Stated that it was for five and instantly a table was available?? I was like strange but ok. There were several other groups waiting. Ordered our meals, never received nor was asked for a refill of our drinks. They were also out of a lot of menu items; including fountain drinks. The food was barely warm. Took over 30 minutes. Meanwhile the table of five in front of us was asked to cram into a booth for a reservation of ten could have the table. Meanwhile the father and son went to the restroom and came back to an empty table! Just poor management! The reservation noticed that no one has food and was told it was taking over 30 minutes and they left. Had to ask for my son's meatballs, which the owner quickly microwaved and then dumped on his plate. The hottest food at the table mind you. We told the owner our food was barely warm and the fries were not fully cooked. She said they could remake one burrito. Stated that we didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for food. The owner simply said ok and walked away. Had to ask for our check, then the waitress said it would take several more minutes to get it? The bus boys deserve a huge shout out! Not only were they bussing tables and refilling cups but they were also cashing customers out. What should've been a quick under an hour lunch was well over an hour and half with subpar service and lack of management.

Ordered 60 dollers in takeout and one of theaon orders you forgot. Didn't realize it tell we got home. Good thing we had extra stuff to feed the person who didn't get food very disappointed

Stopped in at the suggestion of a local while picking up a Facebook marketplace purchase. Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, and the staff were on the ball with putting my order together and getting me back on the road in a timely manner. I would suggest the Ruben on marbled rye, fries, and Arnold Palmer to anyone!! Even the side of slaw was delicious!
