Food was good for Tex-Mex Style Food. You're better off going to Southwest Detroit where it feels and taste more authentic. Restaurant is Clean and all the workers are friendly. Rice and Beans were good. Salsa was also good. Taco's and burritos were too greasy. Probably will not be back.

Angelinas is a very authentic and delicious Mexican restaurant and anyone with a different opinion you are to familiar with Taco Bell or you must've lost your taste due to Covid.

No alcohol

Absolutely the BEST house made salsa!! The entrees were great too and the prices are super reasonable.

All of my experiences in this place have been exceptional. The flavors are authentic and vibrant, with dishes that transport you straight to Mexico. The service is friendly, making each visit enjoyable. Whether you're craving classic tacos or something more adventurous, this place delivers consistently delicious meals.

Everything excellent but the parking. Go a little early if carrying out.

My favorite chimichangas & super fast service ?

I've driven by Angelina's hundreds of times. Sunday, we decided to stop by. Very pleasantly surprised! The food was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is very nice inside. She had the normal size (haha) hamburger nachos. Well actually, we had them for a couple days afterwards too! ? And I had the chicken and chorizo street tacos. Portions were large, and the flavor was great! We will be back.

Kid-friendliness: Angelina's does not serve alcohol. So, it should be a great atmosphere for kids.

This restaurant was always my favorite place to get takeout. I’ve been doing so for years since my boyfriend introduced me to it. I usually order the chimichangas because they are THE BEST compared to anywhere else in or around town.

But the last THREE times that I have ordered takeout chimichangas from here, I have found a wooden toothpick skewer INSIDE of my chimichangas. Not on top. Literally inside, blending in with the chicken. The first time, the pick was shredded and I had bit down hard on it. It was painful enough that I had to schedule a dentist appointment. I couldn’t tell you how many slivers of wood I may have eaten that day, but I’m sure it happened if they were small enough bits. I saw it as an oversight and didn’t care to call and complain.

The second time, it was the entire pick, luckily unbroken. I was a bit frustrated that this happened a second time, so I had my boyfriend take a picture and he said he would visit and notify them of this oversight. (See picture with hand holding pick)

Today was the final straw. I included the receipt, which specifically states to take the toothpick out because it has happened two times too many already. And I also included the photo of me literally finding it after cutting into a portion of my chimichanga (typically about halfway into the meal).

I will honestly miss getting the chimichangas here, because they really are the best chimichangas I have ever had, but I’ll never order food to-go from here again. I’m sure the dine-in experience might be different, but I wouldn’t know.

*Side note, they forgot the lettuce on it today and it ruined the pallet.

My friend and I were going out for dinner and I suggested some Mexican cuisine. He then suggested Angelina's where I had never been before. WOW what a GREAT choice. The food was Absolutely AMAZING and the service was Excellent. Our Stunningly Beautiful waitress, Selena (named after the Incredible late Singer/Music Artist), was Absolutely on her "A" game being Extremely attentive while Dazzling us with her Smile. I'm sold. I will be back here often since Mexican food is my Favorite. I urge everyone to come to this Delicious venue.

Tables were all dirty when we walked in and had to wait for them to clean tables. Service was poor. They sent the wrong meat in my wife's dish and had to reorder. The waitress was extremely slow and inefficient. She didn't refill our drinks, was supposed to bring more salsa, and never did. The food was ok, we've had better mexican food at Mexican Gardens, I suggest you go there. We likely won't be back.
