It’s great that Caribou has a location in Allen Park that’s very convenient to visit! My concern is with the accuracy of the orders. I’ve been there a few times & my order has been wrong more times than accurate. My orders aren’t complicated (hazelnut lattes), but they’ve found multiple ways to mess it up - decaf, forgetting a drink, adding extra syrup instead of the extra espresso shot I’d ordered, wrong size drink, etc. That’s AFTER needing to repeat my orders multiple times and having the barista repeat my order back to me.
Staff is very friendly, just not very good listeners & nonchalant when they get called out on their mistakes.

Those caribou’s coolers are delicious! They’re like Frappuccinos! My dad and I had vanilla and caramel. Caribou coffee is awesome! I wish there was more caribou coffee in Michigan, Florida and Pennsylvania.

The number of stars has nothing to do with the quality of their offerings or their service both of which are very very good. My complaints are centered on a couple of other details that do impact my experience there.
Firstly the breakfast sandwiches (which ARE delicious, no complaints there) are apparently heated in a nuclear powered microwave that renders them too hot to touch for several long minutes meaning that I could finish my coffee before the sandwich is cool enough to eat.
And there is the issue with hearing and communicating at the drive-through. The traffic noise from Southfield Road is so incredibly loud I have trouble having a conversation over that little speaker with the person inside. I think they should plant a row of shrubs or put up a wall or something to muffle the sound from the traffic.
Lastly, I find the parking lot traffic patterns very clumsy. Since they do not have a dining room I want to return to the parking lot and sit there and enjoy my breakfast. I hate eating and driving.
But in order to leave the serving window and turn left back to the parking area I have to cross the main entrance which creates havoc if there are cars going out and coming in. Departing traffic waiting to leave the lot blocks my view and I can't see if someone is coming in the driveway. I've had a couple of scary moments almost hitting someone because of this.
I love the coffee but because of the too hot breakfast sandwiches and the scary parking lot I don't go here too often anymore.
Parking: I am usually there in the predawn darkness before the peak breakfast rush so parking seems plentiful at that time. But there are not a lot of spots and I imagine during the lunch rush parking could be a problem.

The Shaken Espresso is really good here, especially with caramel. I've been here a few times now but each time, what I've attempted to order was unavailable.
I used my birthday reward to try the White Chocolate Espresso Shaker; it was delicious! I'm a fan of the Starbucks version and honestly this was possibly better! I will definitely be getting this drink again. The staff is friendly and fast, so a definite plus when I am on the go with kids in the morning. The app is super easy to use and my order pickup went smoothly!
