They are under new management and they are just not doing a great job i have order twice and had the same problems both times. they're being cheap on toppings and do not seem to understand when you pay 5 dollars for a toppings you should atleast pretended to add it to the pizza on top of that both pizza were under cooked when i asked for it to be well done or well baked cuase they dont seem to understand, it really sucks this place was one of my favorites been coming for years and in such a short time they lost a customer also the manger needs to learn how to talk to customers

Chicago style pizzas are not hand made, pre made and shipped from a distribution company 😳

Pizza was really good and warm, we went during the Allen park street fair. They had a pizza booth outside of the store after we got our pizza they tongs that were being used to pick up and serve the pizza fell on the ground and they didn’t clean them. They looked at them and shrugged and put them back on the table and served food with them. Unsanitary!

Tried to support a local business — ended up disappointed.
I placed a delivery order through the Slice app, hoping to support this business since I already frequent nearby spots like The Rat Pack. I live just 8 minutes away, but the pizza took over 40 minutes to arrive.
When I called to check on the order, the woman who answered the phone had a dismissive attitude. I simply asked if the pizza was on the way, and all she said was, “Yeah,” with no apology or explanation.
I spent nearly $50 on one pizza, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. It was soggy, watery, and lacked any real flavor — definitely not an authentic Chicago-style pizza. I ended up throwing the whole thing away.
If you’re craving a real Chicago-style pizza, do yourself a favor and go to PizzaPapalis instead. This place completely missed the mark — poor customer service and disappointing food. Total waste of $50.
Stopped in after live music in Allen park and had a great pizza at a very fair price. A $17 large supreme full of toppings. The crust was not too soggy and perfectly crispy. The green peppers were a bit big, but I like them a bit under. I look forward to trying their Chicago style next

A childhood classic originally from Southwest Detroit, so the Vernor location is home base.
On Mother’s Day was told our $100.00 order would be ready in 20-30 minutes. On my way to pick it up I got a phone call from them saying there was an ingredient problem, it won’t be ready until 20 more minutes. Pull in front of the store just in time to see the employee lock the front door and turn off the open sign. He left , no one answered knocks on the door or the phone. In 20 minutes the next shift came in, one person, she knew nothing about our order, said there was no pizza even started. We chose to go somewhere else.
Went in at 9:38pm and was told they wouldn’t take my order because they stop taking orders at 9:30pm although they close at 10pm
The Chicago pizza was very delicious. I'll be going back very soon.
