I got a soft taco at like 3 am. Idk if the tortillas are always that chewy but it was really chewy... it was hard to take a normal bite with out the whole shell trying to come with it. Other than that it was good. Happy they say open 24hrs. Next time I'll try a hard taco

The workers are stealing money from people‘s EBT cards and also other credit cards when you go inside they say the card reader is down inside the lobby so they go to the drive-through lobby. They take a picture of your card and also ask for the four digit pin for the EBT or if it’s not EBT they’re taking a picture Of the front and back of your card to spend money at different stores as I experienced as of today, it was done at 6:17 PM on 6/7/2025 Over $800 was taken off of a card to Purchase items at Sam’s Club. The location of this store is in Allen Park off of Southfield Road. They ordered the merchandise. At Sam’s Club, there is detectives that is working in this case. I just wanna warn all the other people about this location. Do not go here

Ordered 2 veggie burritos, no cheese, no sour cream. They loaded both of them with beef. I will never go to another Del Taco ever again. Absolutely a malicious act by the workers there.

To start off,the food at del taco in general is very good.. but the night time manager at the Southfield road branch is the rudest woman I have ever came across.. the day time staff is very pleasant but I think this branch needs a more professional night manager.. like I doubt they could ever find one more rude and obnoxious than this lady.. it's sad to see such a good restaurant with such terrible service on the night shift ?

My first time and it was great. The service, the food, the price cannot be beat. I'm rating this at 4 am the day after my visit and I'm feeling fine after a decent nights rest. Had I went to a Taco Bell, which I stay clear of these days, I would have felt sick from around 1 am until now, can't believe the difference...why aren't these restaurants in more locations ? I live a couple hours from here, down in Ohio...closer to Ft. Wayne Indiana & Defiance Oh. Defiance has two Taco Bells. I drive truck to River Rouge every morning and am thankful that this location has ample parking. I'm hooked & will be a regular from now on.

I'm not one for fast food 99% of the time however I've heard good things about Del Taco for years and decided it was time to check it out. Let me tell you something about Del Taco, it blows any other Mexican fast food restaurant out of the water. The customer service was amazing! The restaurant was very clean! The food was fresh and delicious! I would give the overall experience a 4.8 out of 5 stars!

Front counter worker was on his phone when we walked in. We ordered our food and my husband ordered the B&C burrito mucho combo, I had the chicken version of that. Our total wasn't more that 11 dollars so we knew that there was already going to be an issue. (Both meals cost about 6-8 dollars). After cashing us out, the boy at the front counter handed me my cup and when my husband asked for his, the boy just stared at him with a very confused look on his face. My husband said" excuse me can I have my cup that goes with my meal please"? Which he gave but had an attitude behind it. Once we got our food, we were not only missing his entire meal besides the burrito, but the food was no where near hot. So my husband went back up to the counter to tell the kid that he had messed our order up, by not giving him the meal he ordered, he said "you didn't say combo" to which my husband responded with "I absolutely did, I even pointed at it". As a manager was coming over the kid then says "man he didn't order a combo" he didnt order a combo! To the point where the manager had to tell him to go away, so we could figure out what was actually missing. Once the kid walked away, The manager ended up correcting the order which is much appreciated but, having prior experience in the food industry, those are not the kind of working that you want in the front of the house, dealing with customers. His attitude and the way he approached the situation because of his mistake, is actually very unprofessional.
