Phenomenal service. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was inviting & a fun spot to grab a drink & food. Highly recommend.

Good Tex-Mex food. But drinks, as in Mojitos, were not.

Worst trip to a restaurant in a while! Seated right away, but then ignored in a half-filled place for close to 25 minutes. Charged me for the second basket of chips I asked for (didn't see this until the bill) because of the long wait before they took our order. Food took forever to come out, and they only brought out my son's and my wife's. She got the flaming hot cheeto burrito. Cold, and the flaming hot cheetos were from like 2005. My son liked his tacos but those are pretty hard to mess up. So after another 10 minutes they finally brought my food out. Yes, it was cold as well. Never apologized once during the whole debacle and didn't take a cent off my bill. The double charge for a basket of chips really got me though. The ownership sure isnt forgetful when it comes to clawing every dime they could from my wallet for a supremely subpar experience.

My daughter goes to GVSU, so we love to visit El Aztecas when we visit her. Their food is always so good, servings are generous, and prices are what I'd expect. We love the atmosphere and service, as well. Looking forward to visiting again.
