I bought some of your garlic bread at Kalamazoo farmers market and I am definitely think it’s amazing . It’s expensive $8 a loaf but I think it’s a good product. After reading so many bad reviews I decided to leave my review as well . This place definitely great if you want to try something unique. I didn’t have mold on my bread even on day 5 . Don’t be scared to try it’s worth it
Have purchased multiple goodies from them at the farmers market in New Buffalo! The right side up pineapple cake as well as the apple strawberry cake was perfect flavoring! The banana bread was soft and melts in your mouth! They also have delicious pepperoni pinwheels! Would definitely recommend trying something from them as I’m sure they won’t disappoint! Prices are very reasonable too!
I purchased quite a few items from the crown point farmers market/Shipshewana On the Road. I got the strawberry and cheese strudel, 2 packs of the garlic knots, cinnamon rolls, and a cherry Bavarian cake. I have to say I am so disappointed—I tried everything as soon as I got home (same day) and everything sucked. The garlic knots smelled amazing but were SO dry and flavorless. The strudels were very limp and had a weird flavor and barely any filling. The cinnamon roll dough was hard and dry. The flavor was there but the dough sucked. The cherry Bavarian cake tasted like just pure sugar and I expected it to have cherries and Bavarian all throughout and not just the top? I love sweets —buttercream is my fave— but this just didn’t have any flavor to help the sweetness. $44.50 down the drain.
Owners is rude and disrespectful!!!!!
I bought the asiago foccacia rolls from the shipshewana on the road literally yesterday at the crown point fair grounds in Indiana Sunday night I used them for dinner. I hated them up in my toaster oven put some melted butter on them and they were great! so tonight I was so excited to use them for dinner I pulled 2 out of the bag FROM THE FREEZER like I was told, and there was mold on them. idk if this happened because it was an older product. shelf life wasn't correct but I'm sad. I was so excited like I said they were really good in just disappointed.
Stopped at their stand at shipshewana frankenmuth today & got an apple caramel pecan cake. It's absolutely amazing! I expected it to be super sweet & it was sweet but not so rich you couldn't eat it at all. Nice apple taste, caramel flavor is great, pecans were still hood and crunchy, and the inside was almost like an angel food cake, which is my favorite. It was $10 and worth every penny.
We just bought two loaves of bread from the great bread company. Pesto parm bread and banana bread. First thing is that they don’t have much taste and second I was shocked to see all the bad ingredients including bleached wheat and so many more harmful ingredients. I was expecting to get more of a homemade type of bread. Also over priced for all the harmful ingredients.
We purchased a loaf of apple bread at the Holland farmers market on a Sat and were excited to try it Sun morning. It was the worst apple bread we've ever tried. The texture was like taking a bite of a sponge. About the same flavor profile as well. Worst $8 I've spent in awhile.
To preface, I’ve never been in here before. I was unfamiliar with the environment or how ordering works so I walked in and was ready to buy a loaf. The woman working with light blonde hair and a ponytail with a t shirt on was EXTREMELY rude. I’m not even kidding when I say she acted like I was a 7 year old asking them to buy me candy. I tried to consider many reasons why she could’ve had that attitude but it was Monday at 11:30 am so there’s not much of an excuse. I’m fine that they didn’t have the bread I wanted, but I will not be returning to buy some because of the attitude I experienced. So unwelcoming.

I bought the Cinnamon Swirl and the Pepperoni Bread as recommended from the staff member. They both looked very good and they smell so good. When I actually tasted them, they BOTH had NO FLAVOR— they both tasted like plain white bread. I unfortunately paid $18 for both loaves and I feel quite disappointed spending a large amount of money on bread, but I wanted to support a small business. I agree with the others and I will probably just buy something at the grocery store that I know has flavor 😅

Just purchased their “pepperoni bread” at a farmers market. $8.00 for a small loaf. It has a tiny slice of pepperoni inside a dense, doughy pasty bread. Take a little pride in your product. This is terrible.
Purchased loaf of Apple Cinnamon Swirl Bread at Novi High School craft show. It was dry and tasteless. Also did not see any apples in the bread.
I will throw this away and you got my $8.
A great find. Have tried many of the bread loaves. ALL delish. Wonderful flavor and texture. Authentic! Buy 2 loaves at Fulton Farmer’s weekly. Freeze well. Store loaf “in progress” in fridge.
Bought banana bread with chocolate chips at thw Leslie Fall Festival and it was amazing. We did exactly what the person running the booth said and stored it in the fridge and never had a problem with it being dry or stale like claimed in many other reviews on Google. Would 100% buy from them again!

Bought a loaf of rosemary sourdough, (as I do every year at the Allen Park Street fair), and it is so delicious. I came on to find out where I can get some before next year!
