Having attended Alma College, Pizza Sam was part of my life for four wonderful years. Now, when in the Alma area I always try to make a point to get my favorite pizza and the taste takes me back to my college days. The crust is just the right thickness, the sauce has the perfect amount of spice, and they always are generous with the toppings. Tip: Get a side of ranch for your crust. Mmmm Can’t wait until my next visit.

So hit or miss anymore. You have to tell them to cook the pizza on a screen or it's soggy. They have the best topping and each dressing. Just wish there was more consistency.

To be blunt I asked for a well done pizza, I got a pile of half warm sloppy toppings on barely baked dough. If your a first timer id skip this joint of you wanna good pie...."reply to rude reply" I did mention at the counter that it wasnt well done and, they said " its done to us" so I figured a call wouldnt have warranted zilch. A very unprofessional response from an owner?must be love is gone and more customers daily. Good luck to you and your slop shop.
I have been getting pizza here and have called it my favorite for nearly 10 years. Today was the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience. My pizza was just awful, not only did it look like a complete and terrible mess- like it was dropped onto the floor and thrown back onto the crust. But it tasted terrible as well, I’ve had hot and ready’s better than the pizza I had today.

Pizza ? Sam's brings back soooooo many wonderful memories for me. When I lived in Alma and St. Louis, this place was an icon. You couldn't out do Pizza Sam's. The decor didn't change in the last 40 years and that's ok. From the swordfish on the wall to the mints on the counter, this place is the real deal.

This place has been my favorite place to get pizza every since I was 5. The pizza is really unique and so delicious. Personally, I like it better than any other pizza place I've ever been to. Their salads & onion rings are really good too.. I highly recommend trying it. I'm sure you'll love it & so will your kids.
