Love this place so much! All the desserts are so good, my family got some pumpkin pies from here for thanksgiving and they were the best I’ve ever had. I love that everything is organic sourdough and no seed oils. They only use clean ingredients. I’ve hoped for a place like this in the area for years! It’s so nice to know you can enjoy a treat and it’s good for you. The staff is also super nice.

First time here. Pros. Service is good. Baked good are generous portions. Coffee is good, fresh and strong. Cons. Prices for food and drinks are not posted anywhere. So you have no idea how much anything is until you’re surprised by your total. Having prices posted is essential, especially as many of us are on a budget. The drinks and food items are pricey for this area (almost $5 for a small latte!). And to add to that, the tip prompt is for $1,2 or 3 (not a percentage). So on top of your order you feel obligated to tip 20-50% with the tip going to the owners (not the employees).

Our favorite coffee shop in Michigan! We love the freshly ground coffee, and pastries made with sourdough. The bagels are delicious and the cinnamon rolls are SO good. I recommend Good Grounds to all my friends.

The coffee was extremely bitter. $4 for a small cup of coffee--my friend and I looked forward to visiting--we were quite disappointed, as the coffee wasn't at all what we had expected due to the reviews.

Everything was really good. Went on a Saturday morning and was super busy! We got two coffees, a cinnamon roll and the breakfast sandwich. Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for!

I love seeing new places thrive. There is a little area for the kids to play which is amazing, my little ones love it. My only down side is that you can't walk in without playing the dancing game. And it's not easy to do when you have a little one in a car seat. A lot of families are in the coffee shop.

If you are driving through Almont, make sure to stop into this cozy little shoppe. The bread is to die for, the atmosphere is uplifting and the people are welcoming. A great way to spend a little time out of your day.

I tend to never wait for food or coffee, just move to the next spot but really worth a little extra time because it's very good. Everything done obviously with talent and a focus on making things special.

Loved this place! Great organic coffee. The cinnamon roll was absolutely amazing. There was a little play corner for kids that mine enjoyed. I also purchased a bag of coffee for home and will definitely be returning to get more and try other varieties. Everyone was really friendly. I highly suggest this local gem.

This place has such a calm and welcome atmosphere, and lovely staff who are very kind and happy to surve you. The building is very chic and humble yet wonderfully aesthetic! Highly recommend

Finally, a coffee shop that serves drinks that actually taste like coffee! So often I go to coffee shops and find myself disappointed at getting an overly sweet drink that doesn't have even a hint of coffee taste to it, but not at this place. It was a perfect blend! The service was great too and I love how it was decorated. I just have a suggestion for the owners: Businesses should always be transparent with their prices and there are no prices that I could see anywhere. There were no prices on the drink menu, or on the items in the bakery case. Like most people these days we are on a budget and I was trying to figure out if I had room in our budget to take home a loaf of bread and a few pastries. Without knowing how much anything cost, I decided to skip the pastries. Please consider adding prices to your menu and a listing of what's in the bakery case.
