The food, and the service were absolutely excellent! The best place to stop for breakfast or lunch when you’re heading north or south on M 53Parking: Traffic on M 53 can be pretty busy so I would recommend parking in the parking lot around back for safety and it is still pretty accessible to get to the restaurant.

One of the best small town breakfast places around. I've been coming to Maria's for years and the food and service are consistently excellent. I got a veggie omelette made with egg whites and it was stuffed full of a variety of vegetables and Swiss cheese. I got tomato slices instead of the hashbrowns and rye toast. My friend got a western omelette and he was able to substitute his hashbrowns for a side of applesauce. We both enjoyed our breakfast and will continue to come to Maria's when passing thru Almont
