I've had to work in the area the last month and come into McDonald's for some breakfast... this is the worst one I've been to. I know it's just McDonald's so standards are low but the GM is a freaking nightmare. She is way too comfortable degrading her staff. And the staff is so rude or Treat their job like a big joke. Food is usually prepared wrong too. I'll be glad to never come back

When I first walked into McDonald’s in Almont because I applied online the employee asked me can they help me. I told Michael E that I applied for a job online. He said please let me check. He came back and wanted me to fill out an application. I did and then gave my application to Athena G. Also the person who was cleaning the floors at McDonald’s was very nice and that was Kris P. After all this to place, the person who took my application I told her that I wanted the three people that were very nice, helpful, friendly and help me out. I think these people should be awarded for helping me out who has a disability. After leaving, I said to myself, I wish I could work there because everyone since nice to each other. That’s the way companies employee should be to each other. Thank you McDonald’s for doing great work and keeping your customers happy. That is how you do business in today’s world. Keep up the good work McDonald’s in Almont, Michigan.

—Ordered chicken nuggets/ didn’t get them —Ordered chicken strips and a chicken sandwich/ they were dry from overcooking or sitting under a heat lamp. Very disappointing.

Ordering your food is a choreographed! If they're out of something (McGrittles), you won't know until they bring your food! For instance, sorry we're out of McGrittles; we're going into lunch! Ahhhhhhh!

Used to be the Gold Standard of McDonald’s… now it’s the Twilight Zone of Fast Food
Once upon a time, this McDonald’s was a well-oiled machine. Orders were hot, correct, and came out faster than you could say “extra fries.” It was honestly suspicious how smooth things ran—like they had a secret team of burger ninjas operating behind the scenes.
But now… enter Mean Granny. She’s at the window like a fast food villain, mocking your order like you just asked for lobster bisque. Not a smile in sight—just pure judgment. She actually yelled at me for placing multiple orders to use our expiring rewards. Ma’am, we’re just trying to responsibly redeem our digital chicken nuggets before they vanish into the app abyss.
Lately, orders are more like a game of “What Did We Forget Today?” Get home, half the food’s missing. Call up? They say, “Come back now or… too bad.” I offered a reasonable alternative: just jot my name down for next time. Manager said, “We don’t do that.” Oh, you don’t do customer service either?
Now we’re just sitting in the drive-thru for what feels like the length of a feature film—whether there’s a line or not. Orders are wrong, slow, and apparently made with the energy of a sleepy sloth on break.
To be fair, there are a couple of decent humans still working there. You’ll know who they are because they actually wish you a great day instead of just shoving the bag at you like you’re interrupting their evil plot.
Do better, McDonald’s. I miss the old you.

The person that took my special order put it in perfectly. The person who gave me my order was very friendly. Whoever made my order totally messed it up. All they had to do was read it and all it was actually just leaving some things off my burger. Then it comes smothered in something else I didn’t order . I didn’t know until I got home and opened the bag. Disappointed doesn’t even describe how I felt. I had to wash my food!
