Mikey's is an old biker bar/restaurant known for its great food and friendly, yet sassy service. The grinders, especially the Reuben, are enormous and fantastic, with the best Reuben sandwich in Michigan being a highlight, featuring tender corn beef that is not overly salted. The restaurant offers a family-friendly atmosphere filled with friendly locals who greet guests as they walk in. It features a variety of delicious menu options, including fried mushrooms, onion rings, walleye, excellent steak grinders, burgers, and now amazing pizzas like the BLT pizza. The menu hasn't changed much, which is a good thing, and the personal pizzas have more toppings and are less greasy than before. The pricing is reasonable, and happy hour prices for beer are a nice addition. The atmosphere has brightened and modernized, making it a pleasant place to visit. There is a big parking lot behind the restaurant, although it may fill up quickly during peak hours.
