Took a trip up to the UP from Atlanta to visit a close friend of mine and he took me to Amasa for a fish fry at Sawblade. What an experience, place reminded me of Alaska in the mid 70s. Food was top notch, I ordered the cheese cod which was incredible. We sat at the bar, had spectacular service and ate every bit of the food. The dessert were out of this world, I highly recommend this place if you’re up in that part of the world. I’ll never forget it.
I had the hot turkey sandwich. They should probably use a little better turkey as it was just thin cut deli slices(and not quite enough turkey). The waitress/bartender was excellent as she was attending to a lot of customers.
some fellow bikers and I stopped there on Sunday, very friendly waitress, great service, we all had cheeseburgers and homemade French fries...they were awesome! will be back someday soon!
