My family and I have been coming to Blakes Orchard and Cider Mill for over 20 years and have never been disappointed with their food until yesterday. We hadn’t been in the last 2 years so our family all were extremely excited to go. We had our list ready. We knew we were getting pies, donuts, caramel apples and cider. In the past these items had been unbeatable in taste in our opinion. We drive over an hour and a half to get to Blake’s. Yes the products are overpriced but always delicious. Not so anymore. Nothing tasted the same! The donuts are now dry and flavorless and the pie was tasteless with undercooked crunchy fruit. We didn’t try anything until we got all the way back home.
We couldn’t believe it! Blake’s had always been the best flavorwise and well worth the long car ride. Now we have to find a new cider mill for our baked goods. We wasted our time and money. Everything is going in the trash. Be warned! Save your time and money or prepare to be disappointed!

Out of our car the employees only asked the one Black person in the car to open their purse. All of us in the car had large purses. But they chose to ask the one black person, and when their purse was not full of stolen items, asked to move their coat too.
Didn’t tell the driver they were opening the car door. Didn’t do anything but microaggressions.
A decade of loyal customers lost because of your employees casual racism.

When “30 Minutes” Turns Into a Cider-Mill Marathon
We were told it’d be a 30-minute wait — totally fine. Checked back after 20 minutes (since service here vanishes faster than fall leaves). We were third in line, so we waited nearby to be safe.
Twenty minutes later? “You missed your 10-minute window by four minutes.” Now it’s another hour and a half. The hostess’s tone was frostier than a cider slushie.
Asked for a manager, finally offered a fix — but by then, our appetite had left the building.
I work in customer service, and this was not it. We’ll be enjoying cider elsewhere — preferably where “hospitality” doesn’t expire faster than the waitlist. 🍎

Waited for over an hour when the estimated wait time was 15-20 minutes. Terrible service, staff was very rude. Do not recommend if you don’t want a very long wait time. Mac and cheese and fries were cold and there were flies flying around. Burger was not medium rare.

Made my party wait for over an hour when the estimated time was 15-20 minutes. There were multiple parties that had just arrived that were seated before us when we were first on the waitlist. The host refused to sit us anywhere other than the table they had previously planned, completely disregarding other tables that were open until we pointed the table out. Do not recommend if you are hungry. If you’re willing to wait to eat, this is the perfect place for you!

Was here over the weekend, been a while since I came to Blake’s. Things have changed since I was there last. The restaurant service and food were not pleasant at all, their menu has gotten smaller since last, small portions. Our server looked like it was her first time serving.
There were fruit flies all over while we were trying to eat. My husband and I shared the nachos and they underwhelming with the minimal toppings.

I recommend blakes's. However picklefest had WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE. I was very disappointed by picklefest. I love pickles and most places didn't have pickles themed food/drinks.

Blake Farms had decided to give Aric Nesbit a platform to campaign on hate and division to become the next governor. This place is nothing but a cash grab. I highly recommend visiting somewhere else.

Amazing atmosphere! The establishment and setting is very nice and comforting. Service was slower but friendly. Food was good but the mashed potatoes were not cooked all the way thru as they were firm. It’s an expensive place and you’re obviously paying for the ambiance which is understandable but I expect a bit more. Also no free rewards programs or any incentives for returning. Nonetheless will definitely be back as we enjoy the sites.
