I ordered the birria meal through delivery. Food was very soggy. Did not like this at all. Disappointed.

Super mid considering there’s a billion taco places in the area and the food is sub par not to mention they charge 3.50 for a taco and most places charge 2.50-3$ and taste better. I only came here for convenience of living close not because they’re good but after raising the prices I’m done here. 33$ for 9 tiny tacos

Right by Oakland University on Walton Road. Got the veggie California burrito. Just superb! Perfect blend of roasted veggies, refried beans, rice, guacamole, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. They brought out a complimentary plate of nachos, which were a delight. Two options for salsa; I mixed the two for a perfect balance. And they give a 10% discount for OU students! The atmosphere is also great, with traditional Mexican music in the background.Vegetarian options: They are open to making just about any dish vegetarian. It was just perfect. I’ve been to some Mexican restaurants that have no idea how to do vegetarian, but El Fogon knows what they’re doing!

The taste is great, but it's not consistent. The last three times I ordered delivery the tacos were not crispy, mushy mess you can't pick up with your hands. Maybe they have a new cook who soaks them in broth. Grease and liquid you will eat your taco with a spoon.

We ordered take out, several types of tacos and a burrito. My husband asked if I had ordered meat in his California burrito because he could taste any, it was mostly filled with beans with very little of the veggies that were supposed to be included . The guacamole seemed like it came from a prepackaged carton- just had that too smooth texture to feel hand made. The carne asada tacos were a big disappointment because the meat resembled ground beef more than chopped up steak and the cilantro and onion on top didn't taste fresh at all.
