We googled 5 star mom and pop restaurants for lunch and this is what we got. Top of the list. We were on the east side of Michigan for a concert at Pine Knob. This restaurant hands down is the best none chain from scratch restaurant we have eaten at in a LONG time. Atmosphere even was amazing. Waitress was as well. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat another chicken noodle soup in my life. Thank you for making this dining experience one for the books. We will see you again...
Food and service was excellent! You can definitely tell it's family owned. They take pride in their meals and customer service. Portions were larger than the average person to consume. Cost was definitely worth the portions. If you're in the area, you must try it! It's small and little seating so get there early.
I absolutely love this place. The food is freshly made every day. You get large portions for a reasonable price. And the service is wonderful. All the servers are great but my favorite is Brittany. When my boyfriend and I go there she's usually are waitress. She knows how we like are food and is very attentive.
