Overall pretty disappointed, I used to go here all the time in my undergrad, but it has really gone down hill. I ordered carryout, the order was wrong, then when they remade it, the food was cold like it was taken out of the fridge. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they are providing a refund. I hope this review brings some change.

But then, even the manager herself came out to check how everything was.

I appreciated Daeja so much tonight. My 8yo daughter and I walked in shortly before closing. Other than the place being spotless and empty, you would have never known by Daeja’s service they were closing. When my daughter ordered Mac n cheese she even made note to tell her that it’s the white kind not the orange. Parents, you know. Thanks Daeja!

What happened to this place? I waited at the door for almost 10 minutes before even being given eye contact with an employee, while there was only was server in the dining room.. taller black woman.
She looked my way, finally, but then disappeared into the kitchen. The carryout girl looked like she was going to cry. 2 other smaller parties got sick of waiting and walked out.
All I was waiting for was my carryout that I placed online.
After 5 more minutes, the carryout girl said hi and it would still be a while. That's fine, no worries.
10 minutes later.. 3 groups of 3 or 4 people came in. .. the server from earlier walked passed them, started talking to someone in the kitchen, and then just disappeared.
Horrible customer service. No manager in sight.
The food I ordered, teriyaki chicken wings and apple pecan Salad, looked like it had fallen on the ground and thrown back in the containers. The chicken for my salad had scrapings of other stuff cooked on the grill.. kinda gross.
Short story long... don't waste your time dining in. Get carryout as a last resort.
The only thing that will come from this review is a generic apology that means nothing to anyone

After we were seated, we were told there was only one cook. Whole meal took an hour to arrive when there were almost no customers. Servers was very kind and highly apologetic.

This place has really gone downhill. I've been coming to this location for years, and I've always had a pretty pleasant experience. The last couple of months I've noticed the quality go downhill. I have become familiar with the manager here, Michael, over the last handful of years, and thought I would speak to him about the changes I've noticed and ask what's going on. Turns out he no longer works there. No wonder things have changed!!! I'm not sure what happened to him, but this is a huge loss for this store and the company. Mike was always very friendly, and I would always see him helping his employees. That was a manager who genuinely cared, and that's not a quality easily found in management. Good luck to this store and the company- I won't be returning.

I wouldn't know anything about their food. The restaurant was empty, my party and I sat waiting for our food for over an hour. When we inquired about the long wait time, we were told their cook called off and the manager was cooking, and he didn't know what he was doing. We were told some of our food was done and sitting under a warmer... We decided to cancel everything and leave after being there over an hour. I was not about to get food poisoning.. who knows how warm that food was or if it was kept to the right temperature. Worst experience ever.. someone could have told us the situation before we sat down, let us decide if we wanted to wait or not will not be going back.
