Disappointing Experience - Poor Service from Cashier & Staff

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The cashier was unprofessional and seemed disinterested in assisting customers. When it was my turn, they barely acknowledged me and seemed to rush through the transaction without any courtesy or a smile. It felt like I was being a bother for simply paying for my meal.

As for the rest of the staff, it was no better. The waitstaff was slow to take our order and even slower to bring our food. At one point, I had to flag someone down to get a drink refill. It's clear that the staff could use better training in customer service. I felt more like an inconvenience than a valued guest.

Given how important good service is to a dining experience, I won't be returning anytime soon. Disappointing to see such a lack of attention to basic hospitality.

As of today 10/13/24, I’m very happy with this sbarro location. Way nicer employees than the novi location who were rude and gave me cold pizza. However my only complaint is they burn the crust on the pizzas sometimes.

I’m here at 6:30 pm and I tried ordering a slice of pepperoni pizza and I was told all they have is veggie. So you’re not going to make any more pizza for the rest of the night ?? Great way to not make money.

I worked for this place back from 2014-2017 perfect experience. I recently worked for this franchise location from December until a week and a half ago and quit do to the atmosphere. Everyone snaps on each other. The whole staff leaves one person to serve, make the food, and ring up customers(even if we were busy)! How are you supposed to display a full line if you got 4 employees and only one working up front! Now that I have quit they have been holding my paycheck and are giving me issues getting the money I worked for. I'm really about to report to department of labor! These people need to lose their jobs countless complaints on a daily basis!

Food was decent, I did get the tiniest breadstick I’ve ever seen. My issue was with the cashier. I got a Pepsi as my drink, it was flat. I returned after 15 minutes and she was with another guest. She was not talking with the guest but she was working on her drinks when I spoke up and asked her KINDLY if I could exchange my drink because it was flat. She silently took my drink, did not ask what I wanted, gave me another random FLAT drink and before handing it to me leaned over the counter and towards me and talked to me liked a child in front of the other guest and said “Next time wait until I’m done with my guest before asking me.” or something like that. In my opinion, totally unnecessary she could just told me “I will be right with you” or honestly simply no and I would’ve left but the tone and talking to me like a kid was so disrespectful.
