How ridiculous is this? You know how everywhere has those kiosks to order your food? I'm cool with that. What I'm not cool with is the machine at Steak n' Shake trying to coax a tip out of me when I literally dealt with exactly 0 employees in the course of my dining experience. WHO WAS THE TIP GONNA GO TO? And it's bad enough it asks to tip at all, but if you're not paying attention it automatically adds a tip. YOU have to select no!
The food was awesome! The burgers were good - juicy, greasy in the best way, and big. Just like I like my...hamburgers.
Anyway, the fries are like crack. Not that I would know anything about crack, but you get the picture. I could make meal of these fries. I could probably eat these fries everyday. I do recommend these fries.
My sister and I decided these are our new favorite 'fast food' burgers. Will be back...but to a different location than this one. Why?
Unfortunately the restaurant was...let's say it was less than appealing. There was an underlying smell of wet dog (I'm not trying to be funny, it really smelled like a wet dog) - not appetizing to think about where the smell originated from - and the floors were wet - and not from being cleaned. It was like the building was sweating... It was unsettling.
Many parts of the atmosphere were weird. Do yourself a favor and use the drive through, or avoid this spooky Steak n Shake altogether and go to a different location.

Always great food, usually pretty packed and it's a little annoying that you have to use kiosks. If there's an issue with your order good luck getting someone's attention
The atmosphere and service was so uncomfortable and I saw this guy trying his best getting out the orders he can until this woman at the counter tried to be rude to him. All I saw is that I walked out to my car and saw him saying “Amanda.” and stuff while I keep on hearing him talking to his parents this is just disrespectful behavior to one of the co workers I am gonna give this a 1 star because this is very unacceptable behavior.

I witnessed a worker that was a manager that cussed out a person from the drive thru and someone said that her name was Amanda because I heard one of the co-workers saying her name this restaurant made me very uncomfortable so I am staying out of the restaurant for a while because shes very rude.

Stopped in here on 3/15 for a quick bite. What a mistake. Place was very dirty and had to ask for a rag to wipe down the table. Order your own food at a kiosk and then it asks if you want to tip LOL. We had a few burgers and fries with chilli cheese. Got sick about an hour after leaving. This place was disgusting and 100% will not go back.

Not too crazy about the kiosk ordering system they have. Preferred it when they took your order in person. But the food is still good and the shakes are awesome. Worth going to if you want to quiet down from being at the mall.

This is my first time dining in at a Steak ‘n Shake in a long time, but it was a great experience! For dine in orders you order on a kiosk then seat yourself. When the order is ready they call out your name. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes on a mildly busy Saturday night. The food tasted as expected for a fast food restaurant, the shoestring fries were a standout. The interior of the restaurant is a bit outdated, but pretty clean.
