Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Came here 2 days in a row for lunch and the first day they didn’t blend the ice enough. Day 2 my smoothie and wrap were delicious!

Normally this Trop is my go to. Especially since the new management. This morning however left me a bit disapointed. Ordered an acai bowl with extra coconut. I get to work, take out my bowl to find no coconut whatsoever. Not anything to stop me from going back, but I will definitely be checking my bag before leaving in the future.

Do mot order online delivery. You will not receive your order and they won’t help. They’ll just tell you that it’s nothing they can do. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND IT ELSE WHERE.

This place is slammed always, yet always understaffed. I get it… people call in. But overstaffed the place then! You certainly can afford it! This place is jumping all the time. I’ve given it three times and every time I’ve waited over 20 minutes to get one smoothie. Ridiculous and I’m done. I would avoid this place.

Avoid this location if you can. The team lead here is EXTREMELY rude to both staff and customers. For one, we were the only ones in the place at first, so the order should’ve been quick. One smoothie was made, left on the back counter, then she started to take 8 other orders before coming back to ours. She handed my boyfriend his smoothie, then we watched 4 other orders get done. I stepped up to ask about mine and she goes “I’m clearly busy and trying to catch up as you can see we’re behind. It’ll be ready when it’s ready.” I snapped back at her because we were there first and she was rude. While we were waiting, she rudely responded to someone asking about a pickup order saying “do you see it on the shelf? It’ll be there when it’s ready.” She even rudely told her coworker to ask someone about chips when she mentioned they were out of BBQ chips. I couldn’t believe the level of disrespect this person gave to her coworker and the customers. I snapped back at her when she finally handed me my now melted smoothie because her behavior was unacceptable. Management either needs to replace her as team lead or put her through training again because at this rate, she’s going to drive customers away with her negative, aggressive attitude and disrespect. I honestly felt back for her coworker who was super nice, but has to deal with that leader for an entire shift.

Ordered a Kiwi Quencher and Bahama Mama. Called to let them know on my way home, no answer. They were flavored cups of water, no flavor and runny. Usually go the Bloomfield location. Trashed them when I arrived home.

No drive-through. Says it has one. Same story at half the locations. Fix this, Tropical. Stop straight up lying on your locations.

Great location and friendly staff

They wouldn’t let me give 0 stars. This place always forgets something from my delivery order. They also never can find my order when I go inside to pick up after offering online. Today I’m sitting at work missing half my order that I placed through there app and the manager won’t give me the missing items stating I will just have to wait for a refund. I’m hungry I want the food not the money at least be willing to correct your mistakes

Ordered pickup during the tropical tan fest . Food was prepped and smoothies still thick when we arrived. No complaints store was very clean too.

After learning about the racial profiling I should've never went here but tried anyway only to get FOOD POISONING. This was yesterday and I'll never go back there again.
