Just had the brisket. Having lived in Texas in past, I search for brisket everywhere. Fat Mike’s brisket is in my top 3 of all time. Amazing flavor and tenderness. Don’t ever put sauce on it!!!! It is that good. It rivals just about any brisket I have ever had!!!! Phenomenal!!!

never open when you actually want it so annoying

We were camping at ft Custer State Park. Sure enjoyed brisket from Fat Mike's BBQ and Ice Cream. The Mac and cheese and cornbread was good too. Prices were fair. However, Not sure what his sauce is because the young ladies didn't put any in our take out order :( No worries we had some BBQ sauce at camp :). Would have went back for ice cream but they close at 7 pm

I've used Fat Mike's BBQ for both catering and ordered from their shop and every single time has been fantastic. They go above and beyond for catering and we've never been disappointed. The brisket and Mac and cheese are some of the best.

I let me be the first to say I am a huge fan of good brisket. They do a great job at that. But, it is very sad to see this place that was one of my favorite ice cream shops, turn into a Thursday through Sunday BBQ only open until 7:00 something. It is no longer a Plainwell ice cream/Mooville place. I used to drive to this little town just for ice cream. There is no reason to now. Sad for that little community.

They have switched to cheap generic ice cream. No more mooville or Plainwell. It’s not good anymore.

We just stopped for some ice cream, but we HAD to try the brisket. It was very good, but the potato salad has to be the best I've ever had. Theirs is a creamy Greek yogurt base with a light touch of dill.👍🏻👍🏻

We have used Fat Mike's catering services for several years at our company. Abby makes the entire experience flawless! Fat Mike's once stepped in with less than a week notice to cater for 250+ people after the original caterer backed out with no notice. I can't say enough great things about the quality of food and unequaled service!

Icecream and service were great. Cute location in an old auto shop. The bbq wasn't so good. Brisket and pulled pork were both dry. Mac n cheese looked fake and gross so we only tried a bite and it wasn't good. The bbq sauce had a fake smoke flavor. We had high hopes but it wasn't great :(

Great ice cream stop

I drive past this place regularly and decided to give it a try today. I wish I had taken a photo of the pulled brisket sandwich I ordered but it was gone before I thought to take a pic. I enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth tender brisket served on the soft bun. I will be returning for more brisket soon! Amazing food, awesome service.
