Icecream and service were great. Cute location in an old auto shop. The bbq wasn't so good. Brisket and pulled pork were both dry. Mac n cheese looked fake and gross so we only tried a bite and it wasn't good. The bbq sauce had a fake smoke flavor. We had high hopes but it wasn't great :(
I drive past this place regularly and decided to give it a try today. I wish I had taken a photo of the pulled brisket sandwich I ordered but it was gone before I thought to take a pic. I enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth tender brisket served on the soft bun. I will be returning for more brisket soon! Amazing food, awesome service.
As a Cajun who's lived in Austin for the last 22 years, I was very impressed with their brisket! I had the cornbread bowl and it was fantastic. Always a great sign when the owner says they model their brisket style after Franklins BBQ! It did not disappoint, great food and people, can't wait to go back.
