I ordered food on accident to the other location; I didn't realize this at the time. When I went in to pick up my food they said oh you probably ordered at the other location. I called that location and asked to cancel that order as it would have made my trip an hour (round trip) they said you could cancel but that they were in the process of making the food. I said I cant cause of said trip and that I mean to order at the other location and would like to. At which point the hung up abruptly. I went inside to which the store in battle creek called the one in augusta to bar me from ordering. I was told I can't order since I had an order in progress. What amazing service!!!! I could have conceivably had the other person in my car go in and order, but I did (what I thought was right) and cancelled so I could order to the restaurant I mean to.
Needless to say, I will never go to this establishment, happy they didn't have my card information because I'd expect some charges on cancelled orders. Don't go there mistake number one.

Authentic local Mexican restaurant with great homemade salsa and hot sauce. Best Mexican food in the area... only downside is no liquor license, so no margaritas with your meal. However, the Battle Creek location DOES have a liquor license, and a larger dining room, so if thats your speed it's not too far away.

I have been to Mexico twice and love authentic Mexican much more than typical American Mexican food. Honestly this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Took my business partner, we both ordered steak street tacos. The corn shells are perfection, the hot sauce has a nice kick and a great flavor, the green sauce was very good as well. The chips were amazing, salsa very good, and all under $20. We will be back often! 5 star

Nina’s has always been my favorite mexican restaurant in the area. Today changed that for me! My co-worker and I go there on our lunch break every Tuesday for taco Tuesday, last Tuesday we went and the chicken tacos were cold and flavorless. I told the waitress on my way out when she asked how everything was, she apologized and I excepted the apology, thinking they were just having a “off day.” Today, I gave them another chance and it was worse. I ordered beans and pulled a huge piece of wax paper out of my mouth and then found a big hair resting in the middle of my beans. My coworker also got beans and pulled a big clump of raw sausage out of her beans. The manager never came to to look and made the waitress come look, the waitress looked and then told the manager. The manager then sends the waitress back to tell us, “well what do you want us to do about it” it was not acknowledged by the manager, no apology or anything from her and still charged full price. I don’t need to return again, very disappointed in how it was handled but the waitress was wonderful as always!
