My mac and cheese was cold, the fish was undercooked, the patties were obviously frozen and the bacon came out burnt. The only good thing that came out of 4 separate meals was the french toast, and even that was nearly burnt.
Our server didn't pick up our appetizer plate when we were done with it, and took a solid 5 minutes at least to grab two boxes for us and take a discount off our meals. There wasn't anybody who came in and ordered/was waiting for their food before us, and it still took them 20 minutes to get the food out!
The radio was not on when we sat down, and only after loudly complaining about it did they turn it on. Horribly disappointed by everything, most definitely not worth the $80 we spent there.

Service was fast and precise, didn’t have to wait long for food which was great. Prices are good for amount of food you receive. 7:30 in the evening is a good time to go if you don’t want crowds of people…you get better service!

Some waitress I had she was just adorable, if I had the money that day I would have gave her a $500 tip oh my goodness she was very precious and sweet thank you young lady.
Although I did not enjoy the burger it was nasty too much junk on it but I did not watch her last but waitress know cuz I didn't want to hurt her feelings it ends up in due with her. Again thank you

I should have reviewed this last summer My wife and I stopped by this Big Boy summer of 2023 Was clean they had someone checking the temperature on food bar constantly service was great (we we are there around 2pm) Nice to see a well run Big Boy love this chain
All big boys are NOT the same. I love my bad axe big boy. The food is great servers are nice, and they always make you feel welcome. If I ever have a problem with my food i almost feel bad giving them any negative feedback because its very rarely i have an issue. it's always taken care of. I highly recommend the Cesar salad with grilled chicken and a pita. It's just sooo good. I wish they'd put out cabbage and beef barley soup more often instead of tomato. Tomato is so boring and unless ur doing grilled cheese, you'd just have to be hardcore into tomato soup and no one I know likes tomato soup that much.
Vegetarian options: Just Don't order meat. Like with any place else. Big boy caters to everyone, including us carnivores so maybe try something ridiculously overpriced if you want a straight vegan restaurant and can afford it.
Dietary restrictions: Calories and sodium content are right on the menu. Probably more info but I pay attention to sodium so I don't really pay any mind to the rest.
Parking: Bad axe across from Walmart is where you can find this place. I recommend it!
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu comes with toy and I do believe between certain hours you get a free lids meal with an adult purchase (you must have a child with you you can't just get a free kids meal by ordering an adult drink or anything like that.)
Wheelchair accessibility: It is handicap accessible

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Big Boys on 8/25/2024. While my family always enjoyed our meals there in the past, this time was a major letdown. My little brother and I both ordered Mac and Cheese, and unfortunately, our noodles were cold. Additionally, my loaded Mac and Cheese was supposed to come with a salad, but I never received it despite specifying my dressing preference. To make matters worse, our server informed us she was going on break right after delivering our food and instructed us to "find someone if you guys need something." This was inconsiderate, especially given the issues with our meals. When we realized we needed assistance, we couldn't find her. While other family members got to enjoy their food another server tried to seat a couple at a dirty table, making them stand next to it while it was cleaned. This was a poor reflection on the restaurant's service, in my opinion, it wasnt really classy. When my family was nearly finished, my brother went to the counter to request a to-go box for our cold Mac and Cheese. He waited for several minutes with employees looking at him the whole time doing nothing. Eventually, he had to go behind the counter himself to get the box. Finally, when we went to pay our $74 bill, my mom waited at the counter for 7-8 minutes before someone assisted her, having the same issue my brother did. And at the end I never ended up getting my salad sadly.
I understand that restaurants are often short-staffed, but this doesn't excuse the poor service we experienced. While I appreciate the challenges they may be facing, I hope that future visits will be accompanied by improved service and attention to detail. Our experience this time was unfortunately disappointing, with cold food, inattentive staff, and long wait times. It's a shame, as we've always enjoyed our meals at Big Boys in the past...
