I love this place going there at 7:30 in the morning when I get out of work grabbing myself country fried steak some of the best country fried steak you ever have in your life they have a breakfast and a lunch menu The Waiting staff is very courteous and kind overall great food good atmosphere bring your friends and the price is just right

Basic, overpriced menu. I’m shocked anyone even goes here. Who is buying grilled cheese for 10$ lol tastes like Walmart reheated leftovers. Go read a recipe book and do it yourself. For the amount of people working there you would think the food would be ok at least. It is also filthy and looks like it hasn’t seen hot water or a mop in decades.

Stopped in for Breakfast which was Awesome!! Ordered a Birthday Cake for my Wife's Birthday. When I picked up the cake I was blown away at how Awesome it looked. Cafe 53 does a Awesome job on everything they do.. Highly recommend them.

Visited Cafe 53 for lunch. Wanted to like this restaurant. Ordered breakfast - but breakfast service closes at 10:30 am. Ordered the chicken wrap club and the chicken buffalo ranch wrap. We assumed the wrap would include a grilled or fried chicken tender. No. It was GRILLED SLICED CHICKEN LUNCH MEAT! (!?!?) The sandwiches were small and COLD and the French FRIES were COLD, mushy and rubbery. Nothing crisp fried to them at all. The buffalo ranch wrap had no snap. Three cooks in the kitchen were unable to create a HOT meal. Disappointing. Barely edible. Left most of it on the plate. Service was distracted.
Won’t ever be back.
Suggestion - If your wraps are grilled LUNCH MEAT - please describe as such in the menu.
Suggest serving breakfast all day. HOT breakfast.

We had cafe 53 cater the meal for The Huron County Historical Society luncheon at the senior center in bad axe the food was fantastic and very reasonably.Would definitely recommend them

They are working on the inside to get all the supplies out but it is pretty cluttered up front. We’ve had awesome take outs at cafe 53 north and a catered take out this past weekend for a birthday party. Bbq pork and coleslaw along with Mac and cheese and cheezy potatoes a big hit…and massive quantity very reasonably priced! Jess and staff there to please for sure!!
