Our first time here. Surprisingly poor food and service after checking the reviews. All 3 meals were served cold, waffles were not cooked completely. Meatloaf and bacon were cold. We were credited half of one meal (one waffle), but still not worth it at $28. Not recommended, based on our experience this place will be out of business soon.

Portions are huge, food is very tasteful. Prices are amazing. I had ordered 2 sides for lunch and was seriously surprised by how large of portions I received. Staff was very kind and supportive, recommended their specials and promptly brought me my food. No wait.

Fair price, good food, but it could use a little bit more cleaning, the floors were unswept and I noticed they didn't do a very good job wiping down the tables also there was crumbs on my seat.

Simply put this place is just the worst. Food it terrible, and that is an understatement, burger was not good at all, chicken tenders were burnt, and a kids spaghetti was basically a soup(pictures do no do it justice for just how liquid it is). Wait staff was not that great either, 0 effort or enthusiasm, not a single drink refill. Highly recommend going to any of the other restaurants in the area.

We ate here on the way back from a port Austin weekend. After we got seated it took quite a while before a waitress came over to get our drink orders. For a while the waitresses stood around we could see them looking in our direction so maybe they were trying to figure out who’s table we were. They did seem a little bit disorganized when it came to that. The waitress was very friendly and took our drink order and then when she brought the drinks she did not bring our napkins and silverware so my friend was unable to stir his coffee. It actually took quite a while until we were able to catch the waitress after that. I understand many of the waitresses and other restaurant employees are over worked and understaffed so I do get the situation. I guess I’m thinking if they were a little more organized they could have more efficient service. Just my opinion for what it’s worth!! I got the egg white omelette with American fries and dry rye toast and it was actually very good other than one piece of the toast was burnt. My friend got the country special that came with eggs, choice of meat, biscuits and gravy. He said the bacon wasn’t all that good but everything else was fine. The ladies room was clean but my friend said the men’s restroom was terrible.

Interesting visit here this past weekend. Nice decorating. Not so great waitstaff. That I can deal with. Now to the real issue. The place smelled of cigarettes. I chose a dish on special. Very simple. Was not impressed. How do you fail to properly cook wings. I let the waiter know and got no response. As if I was speaking to a brick wall. Disappointing. This place is not somewhere I will be dining again.

Spent numerous years attending to this restaurant, but the pass recent visits were beyond horrific. The quality of food has tremendously change throughout its time period, going from good to beyond horrendous. My waitress has served me wearing a Burger King hat on mentioning “bet you can’t take me serious with this hat on” explaining how she had stolen it from a young child. When complaining about our potatoes not tasting correctly, our waitress had decided to stick her finger in it and have a taste for herself. We were beyond disappointed to learn the owner has recently sold his property to another owner. When questioning the businesses manager they refused to give us any information on the new ownership. We will gladly be taking our business to another local restaurant!
