Emma's is one of our favorite places when we come to Bad Axe. There are smoothies and Boba drinks and lots of yummy sweet coffee drinks, but the real star here is the pastries! They have what may be the best apple fritters I have ever had in my life (make sure to get them heated). Ditto for the double chocolate muffins. Honestly though, you can get any pastry and walk out happy EXCEPT the things that are like homemade pop-tarts. We weren't impressed with those. But there are always plenty of other choices. And they have fast wifi so it's a great place to hang out if you need to work while you're camping nearby.

Their closing time is marked as 5:00. We pulled up to the drive through at 4:55. No one asked to take our order. We waited two minutes and then pulled up to the other window…the employee inside saw us and quickly hurried away. Very unprofessional. If your closing time is 5:00, then you should serve customers until 5:00…or at least have the decency to acknowledge them.

The wife and I both had the Cuban sandwich the other day. OMG it was absolutely great!
Sandwiches were great. Ordered online and order was ready right on time. Staff is very friendly. The veggies wrap is excellent and the Cuban was one of the best we've had. We'll definitely stop again.

Five stars!! If I could do more I would!! Emma's food is Amazing ? ? fresh, hot, & tasty, but the staff are so exceptional I had to write this review. I had an order delivered and last minute was craving a honey bear..the beautiful young lady delivered the sandwiches and I mentioned I didn't catch her in time to add the honey bear,,she went and brought one back to me,,a large at that! How sweet!! Thank you Emma's!!
