I was so happy with Linda and her crew. They took care of our family memorial luncheon. The food was great, the service was wonderful and the chocolate cake almost put me in a "coma" ha ha. GREAT Thank you so much.

$46.00 for 10 reg donuts and 4 long John’s and 4 cannolis all of them are dry like day old and the price is astronomical hands down most overpriced donuts ever especially for day old I will never be returning you get better donuts at Walmart do yourself a favor and try elsewhere!!!!!!!

I arrived on a Saturday morning to pick up a cake order. I had called only called Friday morning to order it. I had asked what they had available as I was looking for a white cake with chocolate frosting. This was for a last minute birthday gathering. I was hoping they had a cake made already.I was told that they could make it and she took my order and asked if I wanted specific colors for the writing . I also specifically asked for no flowers….it was for my 19 year old son. The counter person Saturday was beyond rude. She slammed the cake on the counter and rudely announced that I was lucky to even have a cake done that morning as they need 48 hour notice. It was a white cake with WHITE frosting and blue flowers. When I politely told her that was not even what I ordered she told me they could “scrape it off and fix it.” Since my son’s name was on it and he is an understanding young man I did take the cake despite the incredibly rude staff. She did however not charge me for the flowers on the cake…. The ones I specifically asked NOT to be put on. She assured me that was a significant discount. $4 was all she took off!! I should of just walked out without it and also left the dozen donuts that we ordered. Customer service is as important as food quality. I hope the owners can fix this problem before they continue to lose more business. I won’t drive 30 minutes again for such poor service.
While the cakes have good quality and taste they have yet to decorate a special occasion custom order correctly. This is now the third time they have messed up an order.
The first time I asked them to do John Deere cupcakes for my son to take to school but I didn't want a dark green frosting that would give all his classmates green mouths for the rest of the day. What did I get? Dark green frosting. Strike one.
The second time I ordered cupcakes I don't even remember what they messed up. I must have blacked out. All I know is I was so irritated I went home and stayed up way later than I had time for just to make the damn things myself. Strike two.
This time, (though i should have known better) I went in and provided a picture. I gave explicit and clear communication about what I wanted. I said I wanted the cake to be done in mostly white, with lavender accents and writing, and I wanted some glitter on it to make it look delicate and feminine because it was for a girl. I even explained that lavender was a pastel purple (just to be clear), like you might see on an Easter egg. I kid you not, the cake is done exactly as I wanted it....but it's in pale blue. And then instead of offering to fix it, or give me a discount, or do anything to fix their mistake; they stand there and argue with me about how they used the purple food dye. I'm sorry but didn't you look at it to make sure it was the right color before you applied it? Maybe add some pink to it or something? Strike three. You're out.
Except for the rare request for their donut holes for my kids (the taste of their product has been a driving force for my extended patience), they have lost my business going forward. I like to support local, but I'll go to someone else's local from now on.

I used to go here frequently and loved it. All my cake needs were done by there cake decorator patti. I started noticing a big change In the service and quality of the food. I stopped going for a while then I had a need for a cake and found out they have a new baker and patti is gone. At least that makes some sense why there quality is no longer there. I decided not to order the cake and ordered elsewhere.

got 6 of a variety of donuts, strawberry filled , vanilla frosting filled and bavarian filled chocolate donuts , donuts tasted great but my only issue is most of the donuts didn't have much filling showing a picture with his review, this is how most of the donuts are , got half way into eating them and only a small dot of cream inside them , seems like this place is getting cheap with the filling , i get more filling at meijers for there donuts than i do with this place ,not worth the price

Best bakery around, but staff needs to take food safety training. Please remember, you cannot handle food with the same gloves you make change with. I watched the lady handle food, make change, and take care of the next customer and never once changed gloves. Like she thinks they are to keep her hands clean. No, refresh your sani-serve training.

PLEASE READ!!! I ordered custom cookies for a party that I organized. My experience of ordering the cookies was only sub-par. The staff was hard to get in touch with and did not go above and beyond to help me. I described to the staff how I wanted the cookies decorated. When I received them, it had looked like a child decorated the cookies. The main icing was faded and thinly added on. It also was added thoughtfully. The icing was dripping off the side of the cookie and looked like a cheap homemade cookie! The cookies themselves were VERY thin and extremally dry! The writing with the icing had also looked like a child wrote on the cookies. The most disappointing part of this process was I had paid $1.79 PER COOKIE!! They were not worth the price and I was very disappointed! I will not be recommending Murphy's Bakery at all!

Murphys used to be the best. So much filling and FRESH. Now the younger generation runs the place and so many cut corners now. Elephant Ears for years they had these...no more. I've found much better and cheaper more tastier donuts as these guys have went downhill.
