Peppermill used to be a great restaurant. Went there last night for dinner. Had the soup and salad bar. Only 2 soups....supposed to be four. One of the 2 soups was way too thick since it has been in the warmer far too long. Salad bar was pathetic. Head lettuce was horrible. Out of coleslaw. Just not much to make a salad or side salads. Is the restaurant under new ownership? Wake up Peppermill. I'm not coming back.

Super good food. I had the beef stroganoff. Beef was so tender. Great flavor. Will definitely go here again. Karen was my waitress, and she was very attentive and super nice.

Found this gem on our way through Bad Axe. Service was excellent, thanks Dawn for going above and beyond. We had a great breakfast. Food came quick and hot.

Good breakfast and fair prices. Support your local restaurants and diners!

Used to love this place but you can just tell over the years it’s gone downhill.

Very understated, the food taste bland.

When we’re in the area next we won’t be returning, there’s other options on the area that have better food for the same price.

Had the soup and salad bar for lunch. Sooo good! Soups and desserts made fresh at the restaurant. All delicious!!

TERRIBLE!!
It was ok only bad was burnt bacon...
And I made the mistake of going in today also,
They are dishonest charging my card for $.75 more than I authorized. I'm going up there in the morning as I live in a neighboring town...
Damn, I've been sitting here for a half an hour waiting for food. I wish I had learned my lesson the first time this happened.
But here we are...

Loved the Peppermill! Super friendly staff, felt very homey. Everything was clean and inviting. It was great to be from out of town and feel welcomed not only by the staff but the community as well. I highly recommend stopping in for a great home cook style meal. Breakfast was spot on both mornings!

My breakfast temperature was cool. My american fries tasted old and were cool. My scrambled eggs were cool and loose. When the owner came by and asked how everything was, I informed him about the potatoes and eggs and he made excuses instead of apologizing and seeing how he could make things better. Would not recommend breakfast here!

Did not eat half of my meal because they burnt three out of four sausage links & left one of two eggs runny. I offered to pay 4.00 instead of 8.00. No apology. No agreement. Manager only took $ 1.60 off. So I told her how ridiculous it was and asked for the owners info. but no, I was asked to leave & told to have my husband come back in to pay. Horrible customer service after the cook did a terrible job. Don't go there if you expect to be treated fairly.

The food that I purchase was the steak.. I would like to say that it was a good cut of meat.. with just a flavor that was spot on.. cooked beautifully, I didn't say anything about it.. props to the cook, the way it was cooked/ prepared.. I would love to eat steaks every single chance I could .. best vacation dinner spot..
.. very pleasant and good environment..
