I haven't had a filet mignon that wasn't from a fine dining restaurant in a REALLY long time. I'm used to A la carte, $60-$70 filets. When I saw an 8oz with 2 sides on the menu for less than $30, I was a bit skeptical. It actually was GREAT and it was cooked perfectly! Makenna (sp?) was our server. She was friendly, helpful and attentive, as was the rest of the staff. I'm looking forward to another great experience the next time I make it to Bad Axe.
My wife and I needed a place to eat dinner. It had been a long hard day...we searched restaurants in Bad Axe, this place came up. Great place, friendly staff, great food, priced well for what they offer. 10% off for veterans, they support and appreciate those who serve!
I ordered a 12 oz. ribeye medium but it was a little more red center then I prefer but ok. The smashed redskin potatoes were great. And to finish out my meal was a yen, baked beans. Great atmosphere with a cheers style bar. Friendly staff. For desert which on Sunday is BOGO free I picked cheesecake. Very good too.
Wheelchair accessibility: The door to the parking lot around the back would be easier than street parking for handicap parking.
