This place is pretty awesome... I could say alot of negative but it's new to the area and I think that's 90% of the issue as far as working out the kinks regarding their service. You can skip all of those issues and go enjoy their buffet Wednesdays.For the buffet option alone, this place gets my 5 stars. Short of the Franklin Inn this is the only other buffet in the area and that's where they hit us in the feels. I bring my family of 8, we get all we can eat, and it doesn't break the bank for a night out.The owner is also receptive on social media, asking what pizzas should be on the buffet next week. Great business model, excellent food, they just need time to grow into their skin so to speak.

I've been to this place twice. The first time, we had gotten a meat lovers pizza. It was OK but had a lot of grease.The 2nd time we went for the pizza buffet. The dough balls (both types) were amazing. The BLT pizza was pretty good. The other kind I tried ham, mushroom and red onion. It had way less grease and a lot of cheese.I'd probably like it more if the pizza and cheese bread wasn't thin crust.

They either need to hire more people or place the drink dispenser in the main area so customers can help themselves.The owner is a nice guy, but maybe not wear dirty clothing from his 2nd job where customers can see and wash up before coming in. No one wants a person with grease & dirt all over them in the food prep area.

Overall, Pizza Shack is a great place alternative you're tired of chain pizza joints. They're quick, consistent and affordable. Ingredients are quality, and their sauce is very good. What is not good is their oven is not hot enough. I consistently get doughy, wimpy looking bread sticks that would be fantastic if cooked longer/hotter. Their pizza isn't as bad, but doesn't have a firm bottom to be expected for their style of pizza.

This place is awesome, with some of the best employees and managers you could ask for. I'm part of the Ubly football team, and we had a sponsorship from Mancinos until they closed last year, and The Pizza Shack allowed us the same deal to go there before gamedays. They even went out of their way to stay open past their closing time just to accommodate us before we went to States. Very thankful to this place for letting us continue our traditions when they had no obligation to.

My wife and I went there for the first time last Friday. We each had 1/2 grinders and they were as big as full sandwiches at other places. They were the best sub type sandwiches we have had in years. The staff was very friendly. We will be back.
