Me and my aunt are from the city and met here at Verona tavern (because of the reviews and recommended by people we know). 100% recommend. I wouldn't miss out if I was you ;) I got a watermelon refresher (8/10), and she got a long island (7/10), so the drinks were good! We started with the dough balls which were AMAZING!! I thought they would be bigger but they are bite sized and so much better than you would imagine. The only thing that could have made them better would be more garlic! I had got the monte Cristo which was 10/10 but I didnt personally care for the hand cut fries (they weren't bad, just not my liking). My Aunt got the chicken quesadilla and it was huge !!! And SOO good!! The good quality is good and how it was all prepared and cooked was beautiful. The service was fantastic. The waitresses were super busy but made sure we were good & everybody was taken care of :) I fully recommend the Verona tavern to anybody looking for GOOD drinks, food or a good place to go hang out for a bit :)

Out in the middle of michigan. There is a gem. It's this place. Good food. Lots of it for the price. It's not for the uptight kind of folks.

Good luck if you get hired here, they go through employees like toilet paper. few ppl that work there that wont try n 'meangirl' you outta there. owners play favorites, schedule will reflect that favoritism n nepotism. IF you want to get hired here ask them, how many ppl have quit or been fired from your establishment in the last 6 months? don't let the double-digit number shock you. n what are the reasons for those ppl quitting?

Had Thursdays special”OH MY” Turkey Sandwich it was delicious. Had thick turkey slices, mashed potatoes, stuffing, bread, smothered in gravy. We also had Nachos, was very tasty. They have daily specials should be checked out. Great local bar and restaurant.
