The atmosphere is layed back, the food and drinks are great, and the employees from the hostess, waitresses, bartenders, and kitchen staff are exceptional. No matter what you have going in the Baldwin area whether your passing through, visiting for the weekend or a local resident I highly recommend checking this place out...Order the smoked Old Fashioned you won't be sorry.”

“We love Big Star Scoops N Treats! It’s always neat, clean, friendly staff, and great food. Our favorite is the cake shake! They have a drive-thru, which is super convenient. They’re just off M-37 in Baldwin, right by Houseman Foods.”

“Throwback in the best way. You must order outside from the window and eat outside on the covered picnic benches, in your car, or take away. This is NOT a grill and chill DQ, so don't expect a full burger menu or any burgers at all. There are a couple of hot dog options. We ordered chili cheese and a plain one--nothing exciting but decent. The star was the classic blizzard menu! My dad has been looking for the tropical blizzard and the Hawaiian blizzard for years, and he finally found them here! He was over the moon. All of our blizzards were packed with mixings and delicious. This is hours away from us, but I would travel there for it.”

“Ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was a little dry. It would've been great to actually have had tomato, onion, and bacon that I could really taste. It's looked great. Smelled awesome. Fell a little short on flavor. Im willing to try the menu again but probably wouldn't go for another bacon cheeseburger calzone. Its not the correct word but I forgot the right one. Close enough. Service was great.”

“This place just reopened after being closed for 3 or 4 years. They have new owners and new employees, so all the old reviews don't make any sense anymore. This is a good spot for breakfast in Baldwin, and is probably the best omelet in town! They just reopened with a small staff and are hiring, so be patient with them as they may be short-staffed.”

“Much MUCH nicer and better and North these days it seems. Esp with the wait staff .... this location still has its charm while North is trying to be some bougie fancy club or something and destroyed all of its charm. Would and will definitely stop to this one again!”
