My wife and I stopped in for dinner last week and loved it. When my meal was a little late in arriving, I asked why? Our server said "Oh, I didn't think it turned out as good as it should have, so I asked the Chef to re-do it!" Now that is what it takes to be a great restaurant! We will definitely be back.

Absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The kindest and most responsive staff (Renee, thank you!), the best food and atmosphere. They had an incredible gluten free bolognese and a wood fired pizza that my husband raved about. 10/10 recommend for a delicious option in Baldwin.

Went for dinner with friends. There was some good, and some not so good. We had mussels, pasta, pot roast and the pork chop. Mussels, pasta sauce, and grits, all bland. The star of the meal was the pork. Flavorful and done perfectly. Tiramasu was still a little frozen. What really spoiled the experience was a waitress with SO MUCH horrible perfume on, everywhere she walked in the restaurant she left a cloud of stink. Restaurant personnel should not wear perfume/cologne. I was trying to taste the wine she was serving me and all I could taste was her perfume. So much scent that when I got home my sweater smelled like it, had to change immediately. What a shame, we had high hopes. I am sure that horrible scent affected our taste buds!

We have been coming here since it opened about 5 years ago. A year ago we were less than 100% satisfied with the food but wow, they have righted the ship! Great food, cocktails, atmosphere and the service is great. Low turnover of wait and bar tending staff make the experience great as we come once a month. Keep it up!

Cocktails were excellent. The pasta with grilled chicken on top of mushroom cream sauce was good, but not as good as before.

Excellent dining in Baldwin! The bar is also fully stocked with top shelf spirits. Our server was also great. Had the smothered chicken with mushroom risotto and my husband had the walleye - both were excellent!

I honestly contemplated leaving a one star review but chose 2 because I have been to worse places. However the foods bland, and the service is sub par. The prices are high while the portions are small. Honestly kind of sad as it seems this was the spot to be at one point.
As a business owner myself I’d be concerned if this were my business.

Pizza is amazing and fresh. Great cocktails. Salads are interesting and fresh. Everything we have had there is fresh and delicious. One of our go to restaurants!
I am not sure what happened here... it's been really good in the past but we found the staff to be disorganized, not attentive and the food was subpar.

When we arrived (with a reservation) we were told it would be over an hour to get our food as 3 large groups were in the restaurant ahead of us. We were frustrated as we'd driven 45 minutes to get there and we had a reservation, while the other groups did not. They were very noisy and we considered leaving. The manager came over and did a great job turning things around. She sent over an appetizer and salad for us to share while we waited for our food. It wasn't long before the groups left and as was our experience the last time we went - the food was OUTSTANDING! All of us almost liked our plates!! We look forward to our next visit.

We were never greeted when we arrived. No one ever came up to talk to us or seat us. A few tables got up and left while we were there. Obvious issues with understaffing. We left and went elsewhere.

When traveling in MI we go out of our way to dine at Baldwin 876!! Its food is excellent and not a typical tourist menu. Staff is friendly and very competent.

Great food, great service! Our Seattle guests were quite impressed with the decor as well-- they loved the art and the wall sculpture along with the food! The one who had your coffee said it was remarkable-- quite a compliment coming from a "Seattle Starbucks fan"! As always, we continue to enjoy this gem in our hometown of Baldwin!
