When we arrived (with a reservation) we were told it would be over an hour to get our food as 3 large groups were in the restaurant ahead of us. We were frustrated as we'd driven 45 minutes to get there and we had a reservation, while the other groups did not. They were very noisy and we considered leaving. The manager came over and did a great job turning things around. She sent over an appetizer and salad for us to share while we waited for our food. It wasn't long...
Great food, great service! Our Seattle guests were quite impressed with the decor as well-- they loved the art and the wall sculpture along with the food! The one who had your coffee said it was remarkable-- quite a compliment coming from a "Seattle Starbucks fan"! As always, we continue to enjoy this gem in our hometown of Baldwin!
Salad was fantastic, main course was fine, dessert was delicious. The interior was not what we expected, but fine as it does not require dressing really nice. Wait staff not particularly attentive. The disappointment was in how our reservation was handled. We were celebrating a 45 yr anniversary, booked as such, no celebration ambience provided. Be it even mentioning, or a special dessert.
