The experience of dining at 876 was surprising. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the food was good. The waitress was friendly but the selection was limited in terms of my individual palate. The pricing was in accordance with a place that would have expected to be higher end. The selection of restaurants in the area is limited this place offers a unique experience.
Just went for their brunch. When we got there the place was empty. Got seated right away with the dinner menu instead. Asked for the breakfast one. Ordered a cup of coffee had to ask for the second cup and when I got it he had brought out a huge carafe to pump the coffee in my cup just to be charged $6 for 2 “Lavazza Espresso italiano” but the coffee tasted like I walked into a gas station and got a cup of coffee. There are other places around with good walleye, for example, but the walleye dish at 876 is my favorite ANYWHERE. I'm a big eater liking adequate portions, and I'm picky about fish, as a pesceterian. That said, I've only broken my habit once to eat beef in the past ten years...
