Ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and they made me take 2 out of the warmer and made 2 fresh. Why not make all 4 fresh because the other 2 were hard and dry and inedible for 25 dollars you would think you would get good food will never eat here again.

Overall our party of 4 all commented it was a great evening, with our waitress, Alison, being the MAJOR factor in making it great. Couple of our menu choices were not available, which were disappointing since it was a Wednesday - but we made the best of it. We were there to celebrate our mother's 85th birthday so we really wanted the atmosphere and service to be fantastic for it, of which Alison our waitress delivered!! Cannot thank her enough for making the evening such a special occasion for our mom and us! We all commented the drinks, meals and desserts were very,very good. Definitely would go back and recommend the restaurant. ... and ask for Alison if she's on duty. - Ramsey & Miller party of 4.

Dined in a party of three. We had a reservation so were seated immediately. Ordered a specialty cocktail that was perfectly crafted. All entrees - salmon, pasta, steak, were delicious. A bit of a drive but worth it. They also have a well-stocked bar and a cool fish art piece on the wall of the restaurant.

We've been dining at 876 since they opened for business. We've had groups there as large as 12, and as small as the two of us. The staff is always attentive , friendly and professional. The food never disappoints, always cooked to order with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. They have great wine selections, and the speciality cocktails are always worth trying. Last night we ordered the cod and the roasted chicken. Both cooked to perfection, and not over seasoned. We're grateful that there's such a pleasant fine dining establishment so close to us.

We wanted to love it as not a lot of up scale restaurants in the region. They seemed understaffed in kitchen that was slow. That was ok as we're not in a hurry but then app and entrees came out almost back to back. Apps were good but entrees of pasta with pistachios and walleye were quite bland with maybe no seasoning. That was a bummer. It is a cool place and there are quite new I believe so I hope they can work out the kinks. Our server was great. We will likely give them another chance when we are in the area.
Always a great dining experience! Delicious food and outstanding service. We enjoyed back outdoor patio service while listening to the free jazz music on Saturdays at Wenger Pavilion. Try the grilled Romaine salad!
We absolutely love the new menu that they are offering! Each of us had some thing that we had never had before, and couldn't say enough about each of our dishes. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I would definitely suggest going here if you have not tried it already.
My wife had the Cuban beef dish and I had the cod. The beef dish was excellent the cod had a tasty. Coating however nothing is served with the cod. It would have been nice to have some sort of potato or vegetable with it.

I am a member of a group that owns a house in Baldwin which we use as a home base for fishing and other outdoor activities. As such, I am in Baldwin frequently and have eaten at 876 many times. After some initial issues with staffing, etc.I have found 876 to be a pretty good restaurant and have enjoyed many meals there. In contrast, tonight I had a laughably bad experience there (although I wasn't laughing). The restaurant was completely booked due to a private event being held there. We had a reservation and were offered the only table left, which was immediately next to the kitchen, or seats at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar and, after a few minutes placed our order. Over a hour later the food arrived. My order was incorrect and served cold to tepid depending upon which part was sampled. I sent it back and when it was returned it was somewhat warmer and contained all the component ingredients. Unfortunately it was devoid of seasoning and flavor. Apparently the kitchen interprets “Aglio e Olio” as “drowning in flavorless oil”. I ate a few bites and left the rest. Our server was aware of the unsatisfactory nature of the dish and provided a 25% discount which was a nice gesture but didn't come close to acknowledging the total failure of the food.
Finally, a quality meal in Baldwin, MI. I have food allergies and was able to have a night out with my husband without worry. We had an appetizer (wings) and each of us had an entree (meatloaf and walleye). We also took advantage of the full bar. Our meals were delicious. We dined later on a Saturday evening. Several tables held larger groups with children. I enjoyed seeing families supporting this restaurant.
