We rarely miss the opportunity of coming here to see JOSE before heading to south haven in the summer, we swang thru and did a quick shot before heading to Saugatuck for dinner this fall and he never disapppoints!!

Our first time there and we were impressed! My husband had a brisket dinner with fries and mac&cheese. I had a brisket taco and a pulled pork taco. Both our meals were absolutely delicious! We can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu! The only reason I didnt go 5 stars on atmosphere was because it was kind of loud for my husbands hearing aids. But it is a bar too so to be expected. Update 11-5-25 We visited again, and brought our adult son. All of our meals were, again delicious! I tried a Mojito for the first time. Loved it! Definitely recommend Frieda's

Ok, I'm reluctant to say anything about this place because I want to keep it a secret for myself. But, this is my new favorite place for Mexican food. The chips and salsa themselves are worth the drive, but then you add the food and drinks and it just seals the deal.

Went here for the first time today. The restaurant was beautiful. Gorgeous paintings of Frida Kahlo. And just an overall good ambiance here. The service was great. The food was excellent and came out hot with melty cheese and my drink was delicious. I would recommend 10/10! The food was authentic and just tasted fresh. Our waiter was adorable and he was awesome. I will definitely come back.

Really enjoyed taco Tuesday there. I’ve been back multiple times and have enjoyed everything. I’ve tried on the menu.
I got chicken fajitas. The food was OK. I personally wouldn't go back. There are many more Mexican restaurants that have better food. Other people love their food. Im just not that guy.

I really don’t recommend waited 3-4 hours for just some wings I got there at 5-6pm left at around 8-9pm and I had to leave and my food was still not ready , the waiter yelled out to the kitchen “you don’t have to make the food anymore” and the chef left mid hour just to go to another restaurant to get his own food

We stayed at an AirBnb outside of town last weekend and wanted to only eat at local/non chain restaurants and picked Frida’s for dinner. I am already trying to plan more trips down that way just to eat here again. I had the best enchiladas ever! The atmosphere was great, and the musician was great also. 100/10 would recommend!
