Irene's Pizza is a popular spot in Baraga County known for its amazing pepperoni pizza that keeps customers full and satisfied. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has been a local favorite for nearly 30 years. Visitors can enjoy a cozy place to eat, with friendly people and a nice crust. The owner makes delicious pizza with fresh crusts made for each order, and outside tomato plants are believed to be used for fresh sauce and toppings. While some changes in crust and sauce have been noted, it remains a beloved pizza place overlooking Keweenaw Bay. The pizza tastes fresh and is full of flavor, making it a must-stop for anyone visiting the area. This local gem accepts cash and offers takeout only. Customers especially enjoy the thin crust pizza loaded with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage, and many consider it one of the best pizzas they have ever had. The restaurant’s convenient location off Hwy in Baraga makes it a regular stop for visitors. The atmosphere is relaxed, with many families and groups of different sizes coming in to enjoy their pizza and the local vibe. The place is clean, and despite a modest size, it provides a comfortable space where people can talk and enjoy their meal.
