Amazing pizza! Picked our pepperoni pizza up 20 mins ago, and we are so full and satisfied with our meal! The best pizza we have had in the UP so far, will be back for sure . Staff is amazing as well. Keep up the great work!

I'm used to fancy artisans pizza in downstate michigan but Irene's is just as good.We usually order a variety of pizzas when we stay in Baraga County. Glad this establishment is still here-there are not a lot of options in Baraga County. Cash and takeout only. Photo is view from the parking lot overlooking Keweenaw Bay.

UPDATE. NOT the best pizza ever anymore. They have changed crust and sauce . Still ok,but nothing to rave about. Sad. Been coming here for nearly 30 years.The best Pizza ever! LOVE LOVE LOVE. I do not live here, but when I am in town, i have to get IRENES.

Irene’s pizza met my high expectations! The pizza was good, lots of toppings, plenty of cheese, and crust was perfect. The employees also were good sports for taking some ribbing from me!
Been coming here for decades and can honestly say this time was the most disappointing. Got the thin and the medium crusts which both were beyond tough. I've never had fresh pizza where the crust seemed like it was microwaved after 2 days in the fridge. I have a soft spot in my heart for Irenes but after 30 years and being bummed by it twice during a week long trip I can say its probably going to be a memory moving forward due to it being a shell of what it was. It's hard to enjoy sad pizza no matter how good the memories are.

Pizza here is delicious! Thin crust loaded with toppings and cheese. When we were there (2023) the dining room was closed but we could do carry out.

We go to Irene’s pizza every summer for the pizza . We used to be able to eat on the outside deck but they would not allow it. Take out only. We were disappointed. They said it’s because nobody wants to work. We understood this during Covid but not now. We took our pizza to a nearby park to eat .
